Introduction
Decision making is a critical measure that determines direction and perception, followed by a particular phenomenon over a specific time. The use of advanced decision making plays an active role in determining the type of literature review in society. A literature review helps in the advanced structure operations of our organizational structure from one perspective to another. Decision making identifies the Decision that is to be made on a particular decision in the organization. There are both negative and positive products in the decision-making upcoming consequences in society. A compelling and relevant decision-making process is required in an organization's operation structure while gathering relevant information. The alternatives will be identified while making the current Decision on a particular phenomenon. Decision making has a more in-depth and broader perception of the literature review in an organization structure. Some of the impacts of Decision making such as heuristics, the concept of resilience and sustainability, theory of progressive, analysis of the empirical ethical, stress decision-makers, theoretical aspects, strategic decision making, business decision making, and strategic thinking and decision making. This paper will review and analyze the literature showing in the strong ties to advanced decision making.
Literature Review on Current Decision Making
This paper's primary purpose is to review and analyze the current decision-making theory in the social structure. We will, therefore, review literature's impact on the structures that control the operations in our social fabric.
Heuristics in Decision Making
Heuristics is a word that means to discovery and is generally used as a useful shortcut or an estimate of a particular rule in the decision-making structure. The Heuristic concept is used in measuring human judgment. According to Del Campo et al., (2016), the idea of frugal heuristics played an essential role in determining human judgment in the social structure from one perspective to another. Heuristics can be used in decision-making process structure.
In this section, we will analyze two types of heuristics methods that can be used in literature and consumer decision making process structure. There has been an increase in the mixed reaction to the literature review. Del Campo et al. (2016) state that heuristics tries are aligned according to their validity and stop after the other based on the object under discrimination. Fast and frugal heuristics resembles the rational theories of decision making that they are applying. In the heuristics approach, data can be managed in both compensatory and non-compensatory manner. A rational approach to decision making is unique and complicated; this is because human being depends on their emotions and in making critical decisions. In this setting, feelings can be classified as interactive theories that affect heuristics operations (Del Campo et al., 2016).
Factors that Influence Heuristics
Heuristics are certain factors that can be used universally by only a fraction of people based on particular situations. According to Del Campo et al. (2016), decision-makers are a set of people who influences the operations of heuristics factor in the social structure from one perspective to another. The strategies used in making critical Decision affects the heuristics operation in our current society. The perception of the people has also impacted the operation of heuristic operation in our community currently (Del Campo et al., 2016). The Decision of moving to a lesser and non-complicated by the people is the number one challenge that affects the result of particular research finding in society. While making Decisions, most people tend to rely on what they know, forgetting what is supposed to be done (Del Campo et al., 2016). According to Del Campo et al. (2016), most researchers tend to use additional information when utilizing a heuristics approach. The report that was derived stated that researchers are in the position to recognize the decision structure from one perspective to the other.
Concept of Resilience and Sustainability
The concept of sustainable development targets the development that can avoid negatives consequences on both the people and the environment structure. To be resilient and sustainable, you need to work hard and effectively to succeed in your plan. There are various resilient solutions that most developed countries are used to use be successful in their activities. According to Ardebili and Padoano (2020), sustainability targets on the development structure of the society while resilience targets on the overcoming challenges that affect development. The resilient Decision is a well-defined and adopted plan that guarantees a dynamic system equilibrium to correct and minimize the effect of the unforeseen events (Ardebili and Padoano, 2020).
The implementation of resilience on the decision-making factor was more popular in the management of the water-related organizations; however, by the time the organizations began to investigate more on the organizational resilience and sustainability. In the early years, resilience and sustainability in decision making were termed as evaluation dimension factor. According to Ardebili and Padoano (2020), sustainable decision-making tries to factor in using the three pillars of the sustainable factor in society. There has been increased growth in the sustainability decision making subjects that are related to Decision-making factors in our social structure. Economic, social, and environmental factors have helped transform the decision-making aspects of humans (Ardebili and Padoano, 2020). Decision making factor helps in streamlining the resilience and stability policies in our society.
The organizational manager should use decision-making strategies in making sufficient resilience and decision-making plans in enhancing organizational structures in the community. Ardebili and Padoano (2020) stated that resilience and sustainability incorporated with an effective decision-making structure that generates on the debates and analysis of issues on policymakers and professionalism. Ardebili and Padoano (2020) decision making helps in addressing the aspect of sustainability and sustainable development that contributes to a stable organization. Resilience has revolutionized organizational logistics that affects the decision-making measures of factors policies.
Theory of Progression in Ethical Decision Making
Various theories have been used in analyzing ethical decision-making measures in our society currently. According to MacDougall et al. (2014) theory of progression determines the cognitive and behavioral process that guides ethical decision making. However, the sequence of these theories should be analyzed and assessed adequately on matters concerning decision-making processes. MacDougall et al. (2014) stated ethical decision making is the process of evaluating and choosing a particular plan based on moral principles. The following theories, however, should follow the three procedures of making a competent, ethical policy in the social structure.
The effective policy that should be followed includes commitment, competency, and consciousness in creating an effective, ethical plan in the decision-making procedure (MacDougall et al., 2014). The progression of an adequate theory requires the right decision for the proper and effective strategy in the organization structure policies. Various theories state that ethical decision-making determines an organization's operational structure from one perspective to another in the social fabric. According to MacDougall et al. (2014) cognitive approach focuses on the moral, reasoning, and behavioral perception of a person from one perspective to another. In the cognitive stage, individuals are believed to hold the same logic and reasoning.
The following factor has a significant impact on the decision-making criteria in one perception to the other. Ethical in decision making has a significant effect on the development structures to the society's operational structure. According to MacDougall et al. (2014) survey stated that ethical decision making has a severe impact on the living standards of various people in the social structure. The mental reasoning of a person determines the type of ethical decision making that will be used in a particular society.
Ethical Decision-Making Literature Boundary Condition and Extensions
Ethics determines the number of factors in decision-making boundaries and extensions in community operations. Business ethics is one of the factors that determine the condition of a particular region in one dimension to the other in the community. There is a profound connection between ethical decision-making and the literature boundary of a specific business structure in the market. According to Craft (2013), the research was done indicated that ethical decision making depends on particular policies such as utilitarian, moral rights, cost-benefit, fairness, virtue, and theological factor. There are various exceptions in a practical, ethical policy structure in an organization's operational structure in society.
Craft (2013) stated that ethical decision making also affects the choices a person makes while addressing a particular issue in the social fabric. However, according to the findings that were done indicated that ethics determines the decision making of a specific place in one dimension to another in the social structure. Craft, (2013) stated that ethics, like any other factor, determines the right of the motivation of the right action of a particular event in the social structure. The boundary condition and extension of a specific region is also determined by the ethical policy and standard that is used in a given community structure. Ethical theories can be used in the management of an organization's operations from one perspective to the other (Craft 2013). Using ethical policies in decision making helps the organization in creating an effective mission statement, core values, and competitors in the society. The decision of a particular business structure depends on the goals and mission of the organization structure from one perspective to the other.
Review of the Empirical Ethical Decision-Making Literature
Empirical and ethics are two methodologies that are viewed as a distinct discipline. According to Lehnert, Park and Singh, (2015) empirical science is a factor that deals with facts, while ethics are norms and values that guide individuals in society. Ethics are prescriptive, while empirical science is descriptive. However, both empirical and ethics can be, therefore, be used in the decision-making process in society. In all sectors in our community, empirical ethics works in enhancing compelling and substantial growth in various policy structures. In the 20th century, empirical ethics was used in language philosophy, phenomenology, and philosophy analysis (Lehnert et al., 2015). With the current practical ethics in our communities, leaders will be in a position to exercise their mandate without any fear or favor from one perspective to the other. Empirical discipline, for instance, is used in the medical sector as an evidence-based practice in becoming prominent on patient attendance by doctors.
There is numerous research that has been done in analyzing the impact of empirical ethics on the productivity and enhancement measures in society. Lehnert et al, (2015) stated that the empirical and ethics can be included together in the naturalistic fallacy. However, the inclusion of empirical and ethics has proved to be a key measure in enhancing an effective decis...
