An enchilada is a sort of corn tortilla that is rolled around the filling then covered with a chill pepper sauce; furthermore, it may be filled with a different ingredient, such as beans, meat, vegetables, potatoes, chicken or combination. The one that I have found to be most delicious of them all is Green Chicken, Enchilada Casserole; they are cheesy, creamy and perfect!! Thesis: The key objective of this essay is to describe the preparation of the Green Enchilada Casserole and its nutrition composition. The Enchilada Casserole has an assortment of nutritious values due to its ingredients during its preparation. An appropriate approach when preparing Enchilada Casserole while you are on a diet is by making it at your home kitchen. In that manner, you will be able to regulate the portion sizes and select lower calorie ingredients. The best grill shrimp, chicken or fish for tacos, enjoy a taco salad with small amount of cheese and crunchy vegetables

You can have Enchilada Casserole on your dinner table in no more than 30 minutes! It is sometimes loaded with cheese, that is why it is among my favorite recipes. It's nice to put it together it only takes less time; also, some videos have been created to quickly assist those who do not know how to prepare this delicacy.

Ingredients

  • Ten medium flour tortillas
  • Three green finely chopped Onions
  • Two large tomatoes, chopped.
  • One can Green Chile Enchilada sauce
  • 6 cups of shredded Monterey Jack Cheese
  • Three cans of diced green chilies
  • One container of sour cream
  • Two chopped cilantro springs
  • Two cans of condensed chicken soup cream
  • Eight to twelve fat-free sour cream
  • Three tablespoons skim milk
  • Quarter teaspoon garlic salt (Dumke 176).

Direction

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Evenly grease the medium baking dish.

Mix the chicken with one can Green Chile enchilada sauce together with the shredded Monterey Jack Cheese.

In the other bowl, mix sour cream and enchilada sauce. In the baking dish, pour half of the sauce. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Take the tortilla, with some tablespoons of the chicken mixture, roll it down and place it over the source in the baking dish. Carry on with the rest of the tortillas up until all of them are rolled and filled.

Pour the remaining source on the top of the tortillas, with the remaining cheese, sprinkle equally on the top.

Cover the dish with the aluminum foil and put it in the oven, then use 25 minutes to bake it until the cheese turns a little bit brown.

Top it with green onions, tomatoes, and chopped cilantro before serving (Dumke 176).
