Jo March

Jo March is one of the main characters in the play. Being part of the team, I came to learn how best I could tolerate with her characters and behaviors. When I first meet Jo March, I realize that she is a person who is hot-tempered and her behaviors seem to be those of tomboy. She loves taking part in the major activities that take place within the community. In many occasion, she tried to join her father in the fight in the civil wars. She is a type of a person who has a lot of courage to face anyone. She finds it difficult to fit in the rightful place for the nineteenth-century women who have no say in the community affairs. Besides, most of her decisions rely on her level of courage and boldness to say and behave how she thinks is right. Most of her behaviors are unladylike even though she finds them right by her side. Additionally, she seems to be so boyish to the point that even her father calls her his son.

Jo March besides being someone who has characters that seem to be those of boys also loves reading and even writing literature. She loves her brothers and sisters to the point that she is ready to sing and entertain them. She is so creative enough, and she can imitate Scott, Shakespeare, and Dickens as some of her favorite authors. Based on her experience and passion, she hopes to be a great person in the future. She hates the idea or any issue to do with marriage fearing that one-day marriage would destroy her own family. Jo March is such a loving person. She is so close to her two sisters, and she would do anything to make them happy and united.

Additionally, Jo is such a hard working person who values her job than any other thing. She spends much of her time with her employer to ensure that she takes her duty seriously and earn a living that she uses to help her struggling family. Her decision to seek employment is such a good idea as it makes her busy and fetches for the family the food and sustains her two sisters.

Mr. March

Mr. March is the father and the head of the family even though he spends little of her time with the family. Mr. March spends most of her time serving as the chaplaincy. He proves himself such a thoughtful person who is mainly concerned with the key philosophical matters of society. Most of his decisions were for the best interest of the family. Additionally, he ensures that all her children get all that they need even though he is in a hardship financial condition. He plays a fundamental role as the source of moral guidance to his family and the entire community.

Similarly, Mr. March is such a peace-loving husband who is always keen to ensure that his family is always at peace. He is such a character who is a fully rounded person and who knows better ways to tolerate those that he interacts with especially his family members. He is a perfect person in the play who ensures that he takes important precautions before undertaking any activity. Most of his decisions either physical or emotional were fruitful to his family for the moment that I interacted with him in the play. I came to learn a lot from his actions and characters traits.
