The research
Introduction
Clinical psychology has grown into a wide field. There have been several ways introduced by researchers to treat psychological disorders among people. The results from laboratories are always discussed among the experts in the field of clinical psychology and often not discussed with the wider public. Several disorders have been reported among a wider population. These disorders include anxiety and depression
The article by Klawhohn, Meyer, and Hajcak discusses neuroscience practices during research. It involves research that led to the collection of psychophysiology data,
For the hypothesis on neuropsychology disorder to be tested, there is a combination of timing tasks, which is commonly used with established anxiety such as the threat of shock. In the threat of shock, a person was involved in an experiment, where he received unpredictable electrical stimulation of pain, and anticipated intermittent to the skin on a given time. The reason for performing this procedure was to increase psychology, neurobiological, and self-report to induce anxiety. The analysis did not involve Cases where the participant made no response. According to the experiment, anxiety does not impair the discrimination ability between time intervals
Summary
Often, time tends to move a bit faster than normal, when people are having fun, or in anxiogenic state examples when working and the deadline is almost. This occurs due to the division of attention on what is happening at that moment, and anticipation of the uncertain event, which is likely to occur in the nearing future. Time is also said to slow down when people are experiencing unpleasant events such as accidents (Gruber, June, and Jutta Joormann,2020). This is because people tend to concentrate on timing of the present, which led to time overestimation.
The author concludes that the most common symptom of anxiety disorder is the loss of the ability to tell a difference between worry, and restlessness. It affects both the behavior, cognitive, and whole- body; the cases of the high level of poor vigilance concentration ,and fatigue were reported among the patients that had a positive stimulation.
Conclusion. In conclusion, anxiety is related to temporal under-estimation example time flies. The contrast between the impact anxiety and time can be explained referring to attention accounts with the perception of time hence enabling symptoms understanding of fear versus anxiety. From the research, it is clear that the failure to tell the difference between fear and anxiety is a psychological illness and has hindered many people from having a normal life (Gruber, June, and Jutta Joormann,2020). The mental illness related to anxiety disorder includes phobia, panic attacks, and disorders and social anxiety disorders that make a person get paranoid about getting noticed, embarrassed or judged in a social context.
