The different legislation that guides the use of digital technology information Copyright Act, the Patent Rights Act, Trade Mark Act, Designs Act 2003, and the Competition and Consumer Act 2010. The Trade Mark Act gives the owners exclusive rights to publish and reproduce their work and prohibit others from doing the same. The Trade Marks Act gives owners the legal rights sell or license the mark. Competition and Consumer Act 2010 prohibits the use of digital information in a manner that is likely to deceive or mislead others. Finally, the designs Act 2003 gives exclusive rights of using the design to the registered owner (McKenzie, 2014).
2. Outline your organisation's policies and procedures that relate to working with digital technology and information. (100 words)
Access to the organization's digital technology information requires authorization from the company and the employees do not have the permission to share such information with unauthorized people whether colleagues or non-colleagues.
The use of the organization's digital information is solely for the profitability of the company and any attempt to apply the information for the individual or personal gain is a violation of the company's policy user agreement.
The access to certain systems is only limited to the employees who are in the managerial positions because of the sensitive nature of the information and data that the systems contain and process.

The cloud is an emerging trend in an organization's workplace. The cloud provides a digital platform to store, organize, and utilize personal data and resources to enhance productivity and engagement (Barikhina, 2016). It eliminates the need for carrying physical documents and files to every place because it is easy and convenient to access such data from anywhere through mobile devices.
Digital security is an important element of the current trending technologies. It helps to secure the digital data from cyber-attacks, which leads to the loss of billions of dollars annually (Barikhina, 2016). Therefore, it is important to use mobile security apps in the workplace to provide security for personal data and information in group messaging and other digital social platforms.
Smart Virtual Assistant is an emerging technology that is gaining popularity among employees in the workplace. The smart virtual assistant apps help in improving productivity because they can complete routine activities, automate daily tasks, and organize personal schedules (Barikhina, 2016).

For instance, introducing an intranet at the workplace will provide a better platform for internal communication because it can store corporate information such as announcements, news, memos, and important operating standards for easy access by all employees. It enables improved practices and sharing of resources through a community and virtual working space. It can also provide a channel for online training for the staffs. Besides, it also enhances excellent customer service because of access to consistent and accurate information for all the staffs (Hustad & Vikstol, 2014).
5. Outline the key elements that you would consider when evaluating whether your chosen digital solution was fit for purpose. (150 words)
The service that the digital solution provides. It is important to evaluate the extent to which the chosen digital solution will facilitate and enhance the service delivery to increase the profitability of the organization (Bollig, 2010).
The functionality of the digital asset, for instance, assessing whether the gadgets and widgets of the chosen asset will meet the needs of the organization to upgrade the service delivery (Bollig, 2010).
Evaluating the price of the chosen digital solution to ensure that the value correlates with the intended service that it will provide. That will ensure that the organization is paying for what it gets from the selected digital asset (Bollig, 2010).
The possibility of integrating the new digital solution with the existing workflows, systems, and tools. Getting a digital asset that easily fits within the current systems and processes will save the organization the extra effort and expenses of establishing new tools and workflows which are compatible with the new digital solution (Bollig, 2010).
