I agree 93% of human communication is body language. Body language is crucial to managers, mostly in their leadership. It assists them to convey their feelings, attitudes and intentions to the workers. Also, the employees are careful to observe the manager's credibility, likeability, trustworthiness and confidence to critique the information either positively or negatively. Thus, body language, such as facial expression, gestures, or body movement plays a significant role in management skills.
2. How impactful are cultural influences in the way we react to certain situations? If Bill Clinton was not from America, do you think that he would have gone through the door first as quickly he did? Would you in this specific political situation?
The culture where people lives offer guidelines, structure, rules and expectations which enables them to interpret, express and understand different emotions. Culture dictates how negative or positive emotions should be displayed or experienced. It might also guide how individuals select to express their feelings, thus influencing others emotional experience. If Bill Clinton was not from America, he could not go through the door first because it may not be ethical according to their culture of origin. Since in some cultures, a president is not supposed to enter through the door before a bodyguard because of security issues

President George W Bush guides Tony Blair through the door during the summit meetings in the United States. The crossing of arms across quiver in the voice, chest, stance or footstep speed during handshake showed doubt and tension. If the woman did body language movement similar to Bush, it could seem unusual because non-verbal communication depends on genders. For example, women and men use body language differently in many cultures like a handshake

I am a two-handed handshake because I like my hand to stay on somebody's hand to show sincere handshake. I experienced this kind of handshake when I was supporting one politician to win votes, and I wanted to convey the meaning of friendly, honest, warmness and trustworthy to the supporters.

Norming implies an attempt to determine whether a person supports or disagrees with one views, opinions or behaviour.

When an expert discusses norming, I become aware of an uncomfortable situation or lies because I can read body language response. The physical feedback provides a clear indication of whether a condition is comfortable or not. The indicators of norming are a facial expression, gestures, proximity, and body movement

According to the speech of Nixon v Kennedy, the use of body languages such as facial expression, eye contact, proximity and gestures has helped him convey the information effectively. I think I am influenced by non-verbal communication because of repetitive as it strengthens and validates the message that one speaks. After speaking, the non-verbal communication lives in the person who is conveying the views or opinions as it does not end instantly just like the words. I have experienced both an in-personal and phone interview. In a face-to-face interview, I was more confident with recruiter or hiring manager because I knew he/she was interested in what I bring to the table. In the phone interview, I lacked confidence since I realized conversation without body language could not be useful, especially in an interview.
8. Explain examples of how nonverbal communication impacts interviews (from the manager/interviewer perspective).
Nonverbal communication influences interviews. For instance, when interviewee enters in the panel, the impression interviewer's dressing dictates the seriousness of the discussion and reputation of the company. Also, the interviewee evaluates the confidence and credibility of the manager in asking and responding to the questions. For example, facial expression or gestures speaks more in the two-way communication process. In most cultures, during the interview when a manager nod his/ her head up, and down it implies agreement, and he/she shake sideways, it means the person is not endorsing the information or opinion given.
