The first advantage of arming the teachers is that the legal process will not be tedious since they meet all the requirements of a licensed gun holder. In most states in the US, the requirement is that a person has to be at least 18 years old to be able to purchase a gun. The government will deal with the policies issues which involve matters like this.

The government may need to consider this factor before passing any policy. Lastly, if teachers become armed, it would have qualified the fear the society has on mass shootings. Most people have a phobia due to the recent shootings that it may happen again.
