Gender encompass behavioral and biological aspects. From literature, it is clear that duties can never be used to classify individuals as being feminine or masculine. XX chromosomes are associated with the females while the XY chromosomes are associated with the males. The biological aspects makes sense in some way. However, using duties performed by individuals to classify them as being of a certain gender is appropriate. The fact that people can perform both tasks has made it hard for researchers who were using that point to base their arguments. Apparently, there came the point of eradicating the male dominance in the society. This is to show that since time in memorial, male has been the dominant gender. The female gender usually the XX chromosome possessors are supposed to remain at home and cock as the males went ought to hunt. In history books (Spanier, 1995), the early man used to practice hunting and gathering. The males were hunters while the females are the gatherers. That alone fuels the speculation that the male was the dominant gender. It is until recently when a case emerged in the world of sports.
A South African athlete called Semenya brought some controversy among the researchers. The athlete has both female and male characteristics. This has left the world and the researchers with plenty of work to do. From the readings, it is evident that issues of gender date from the stone-age people. The early cultures traced with the early inhabitants of the world prove that roles were grouped according to gender. It is evident that feminism as well dates from long ago. The mystery remains the methods used by the scientist to learn the cultures of the early man. How accurate is the information provided by the scientists on the evolution and the discovery of gender menace? Nevertheless, everyone should be left to enjoy their rights.
In the women's quest for better positions in the society, they are being involved in very funny jobs. In as much male dominance is a menace, it should never be tackled with desperation. Some jobs for example like taking part in informatics are a mere exploitation of the women. The money made from the jobs are way too low. Despite of the poor pay, the females are expected to dress neatly. Some scientist are arguing that the way an individual is dressed portrays who they are. To some extent, I dispute that phrase. In as much as it makes sense, it is senseless as well. Forcing women to be in certain special types of clothes is more than a molestation. The ladies are human beings and thus should be left to enjoy their rights.
Conclusion
It is possible that some employers are dictating on the types of jobs so that they are never associated with underpaying of workers. Consequently, it is possible that the women are after saving their images in the society and therefore have to cope with low paying jobs where the largest part of the pay is spent on clothes. Already, I have developed a negative attitude against ladies who are dressed nicely daily in the name of going to jobs. The agony that their parents and children are going through is unimaginable. Decency should not be used to hide problems. If anything, a spade has to be called a spade and not a big spoon. With regards to promotion of feminism (Crawford, 2006), better approach has to be put into consideration. And if anything how can the agendas be achieved while accepting that kind of molestation? Additionally, how do the ladies manage to live on the low pay and finance their wardrobes? Gender should never be used as a parting shot while giving jobs and tasks.
