Introduction
There were challenges in the Airport during the time because the people mostly used the commodity since the municipality maintained it; therefore, the prices were reasonably affordable. The services however, did not meet the expectations of the customers. An example is a time that the passengers were waiting in tents because there were a lot of people and others were seating on their traveling bags because there was less equipment to accommodate them during their waiting time. There were also few staff members to help manage the customers like serve them they assert that instead there were vending machines that did not have adequate food for them as they waited.
The conditions that the customers had to persevere before they could board to their flights are unbelievable, considering that the airport is a facility that should provide quality services considering their returns. Congestion issue was the major challenge that some customers were not aware of. Finding the tents and experiencing difficulties during their waits from the holidays was the issue at the time. The management could not do anything about it because the government was focused on the policy that they had made. The administration claimed that the government wanted the airport to be closed down. Another challenge was to increase space so that they could be able to cater to their customers, but the government was also not in support of the expansion, which left the airport helpless.
The management was not pleased that their customers were not happy with the services offered to them like congestion and inadequate food. Their objective was to improve the airport for the passengers who had saved a lot for the holidays yet could not get the services that they expected. They had their strategies to enhance their airport to increase the number of passengers.
