The American system is dogged with problems of age discrimination especially toward the female employees. Based on the same problem, ADEA (Age Discrimination in Employment Act) prohibits employers from carrying out the hiring process based on the age of the applicant. The law gives protection to people who are at least 40 years old from such discrimination. According to EEOC (Equal Employment Opportunity Commission), an employee's salary cannot be based on her age and no firm is allowed under the law to fire an employee on age matters. It is a mere fact that the firm had no standard reasons to get engaged in the business sector in the American market especially through the non- financial section of the monetary sector in terms of age among the women in the country. This notion is based on the fact that the country did not make adequate risk assessment especially in the politics in the country to allow for a better understanding of the market in place.

Although the markets in America possess vast potential in the realization of the chances in dealing with the challenging instances for the ADEA, the non financial institutions that are geared toward the attraction of the foreign companies to help in the institutionalization of the process (Tani, 2016). Such changes include the political, economic, and cultural environments and are organized in a manner that would definitely help in the bringing of the right changes required to help illustrate that the costs involved in the navigating of these markets exceed the estimates used by the government in expanding its services to the American market. Based on these reasons, the firms from the developed countries such as the US are often in the upper hand in the struggle with the attainment of the desired returns when they enter such emerging markets like the one in America.

America's fight with the issues linked to the corruption in the American market came with lots of cost in that the authorities tried much to force the governance in order to pay bribes as a way of avoiding business losses in the firm. In the recent World Bank and the IFC report, the country is ranked at position 182nd out of the 183 countries belonging to the category of the deals involving the permits used in construction. The report goes ahead in claiming that it definitely takes over 50 procedures and over 750 days to gather all the relevant information needed for the permits in the country. This figure amazingly translates to over 2 years in the making.

This reason is based on the issues of corruption, lack of faith, irrelevant government policies, security concerns, and the aspects of taping. All these factors then come up with a very unfavorable political environment to deal with in the country. In the initial stages, the whole process seemed viable as the firm thought the risks were manageable. However, with time the firm realized that the environment was just too much for them to operate within depending of the issues therein. This hostile environment made it quite cumbersome for IKEA to carry out any growth plans and thus definitely deterred the development and expansion in the firm.

The citizens in the US Have the chances of revisiting this entire process and decision making by giving an announcement that it intends to defer the expansion process into the country. The firm then has the chance of going through the reports that surround the issues such as red taping and corruption in a much in depth manner. The reports available to the public on the same process would be significant in the realization of the areas where the firm overlooked and this would then help them in the restructuring of the entire process of realizing that the process takes a better structure and organization (Higginbotham & Spence, 2018). Furthermore, the central government has the responsibility of reconsidering the taking of the more local partners as a means to help them address the government relations regarding the challenges in the political arena.

ADEA must also be in a position to help in the evaluation and management of the risks linked to the political temperature in the country. They need to help gauge and compare these figures to the figures that are available across the globe. The knowledge would then help them in the underlining of the contemplated potential of the available alliances and other long term cooperative links that would help them in the mitigation of the political risks in the country. The paper has then adequately given the ways in which the country has to use to help succeed in the expansion in the American Market.

However, this greatly affected the sales turnover of the firm in one way or the other. The firm had a problem in the replication of the products already provided in the Indian market. To help salvage this situation, the firm has to change its strategic plan and produce products that really fit within the Indian culture and practices. The fact of merely producing and selling products at a cheaper price is not the best strategy in that this must be coupled with a clear understanding of the Indian culture.
