Question 1. What are the Core functions of Case Management?
There are four main functions of case management and they include: planning, organizing, leading and controlling. The planning function finds a way through which an organization can be able to achieve the desired objectives, helps to resolve issues and implements change and action within the organization. Organizing functions help the managers to avail the necessary resources and workforce required for ensuring the functions are done effectively in accordance with their goals and objectives (Neimeyer,2019). The leading function outlines the role of the program facilitator in ensuring the whole project or program runs smoothly. Controlling function helps the company set the code of ethics and professionalism ought to be implemented by each employee to ensure they set an example to those who look up to them. These functions must work collaboratively in order to ensure there is a smooth running of special programs like mitigating the spread of HIV/AIDS smoothly and that everyone will feel part and parcel of the management.
Question 2. What are the signs of a crisis mental state within individuals?
There are many factors that trigger mental crisis state in individuals and one of the main reason might be through stress, divorce, loss of a job among others (Powell, 2018). They develop symptoms which are later rendered advanced in individuals. Some of the signs they may develop are depression, lack of motivation, paranoia, and irritability. At this stage, the individual would be required to seek medication.
Question 3. What are the advantages of Group Therapies?
There are benefits in having group therapies around and they include:
- Group Therapies help in restoring self-confidence in an individual with mental illness as they realize they are not alone.
- Group Therapies helps those who have mental illness to receive support and value the art of giving out support to others who are in need.
- Group Therapies help those with mental illness find a "voice" and a sense of living, especially to those who had reached the last point of their lives and are about to commit suicide.
- Group Therapy fosters healthier and friendlier relationships.
- Group Therapy provides people with skills of coping up with stress in the future.
