Online shopping is one of the most convenient shopping methods in the world, but it has its share of challenges regarding the mode of delivery used. Supermarkets, malls, and superstores are turning to implement this method since most customers are embracing it. However, did you know that three significant problems affect you? If you are not aware, I am going to inform you of the issues but most importantly, I have a solution that I am going to deliver in a moment. Despite the increased love for online shopping, there is a significant hindrance to the delivery systems.
The following are the three crucial problems that online shoppers and customers face regarding the mode of delivery. The first problem is the damage to goods while in transit. Most sellers transport goods by road which damages them. According to Forbes Magazine in 2019, Clawson reported that customers complained of inefficient delivery of electronics, whereby some customers could receive products that well packed but broken on transit. You will find some products with torn packages, broken parts and even missing or displaced parts. This problem impacts both the customer and the seller hence hindering business.
The second problem regards the security of the delivering personnel and even that of the customer. Criminals attack the delivery personnel. According to a report by Huber in 2019, criminals pose as customers and purchase products for home delivery with addresses leading to their identified point of crime where they assault and steal from them. Nobody will love the experience of some of the incidences I have mentioned. Therefore, the solution I am about to give you will be of ultimate value to support your love for online shopping.
The third problem is the timeliness of delivery. Most online sellers do not indicate the time of delivery of goods because they ate not sure of their methods. In his article, Kulisch (2014) identified the invention Amazon is taking to combat delay goods. This aspect discourages customers from shopping online. They would instead go to a physical shop or store and make their purchases within a few hours than wait for days to get a delivery for the same product ordered online.
Given that you have taken note of these problems, the solution is the use of drone delivery. The use of drones will eliminate physical damage. Also, the issue of bad roads will not arise. Fister and the Project Management Institute in 2016 commended this method for its effectiveness. This aspect will be valuable in gaining customer satisfaction.
The use of these drones will also solve the second problem mentioned earlier which was security. D'Andrea (2014) supported this method and appreciated the engineering behind the machines. A drone cannot steal from the customer and issues of attacks on delivery people will cease. This aspect will encourage more customers to start shopping online.
Drones will solve the delivery timeliness problem by taking direct routes to homes or offices. Rockwood and the Project Management Institute in 2017 noted that drones are cheaper for the sellers to deliver goods for individual customers hence saving time. This aspect is essential as it will booster customer confidence and willingness to shop online.
Ladies and gentlemen, imagine how effective it is to deliver goods using drones. They are fast, efficient, and easily managed, unlike using the labor-intensive and costly modes of delivery. Customers will not have a fear of crime related to the delivery of such products. Be sure this will be a revolution in online shopping.
So, what can you do right now? Let me tell you the one thing that will change your way of doing business. Buy the drone and a management system from DJI innovations and enjoy the experience. Remember, knowledge is power. I hope I have informed you accordingly. Thank you for listening to me.
