One of my best memorable events was when I learned that I had been accepted to a college in the United States. This was one of those moments that I had never believed would happen.

Rewarding experiences

Taking part in the 2008 Beijing Olympics as a volunteer. For long I had wished to participate as a volunteer in major games. This was one of those opportunities that I could not let it pass by.

Participating in a soccer tournament. In 2014, my friends and I participated in a tournament in school where we were the opposing team. Although we eventually lost, the experience could not be replaced by anybody. It still baffles me that I participated in a soccer tournament.

Traveling to the United States for the first time. This was my first time on an airplane. I had the opportunity to meet people from different cultures.

Learning to drive. In the United States, it is necessary for everyone to learn how to drive. Although the test was somewhat tricky, I was able to pass it.

Learning that I had a small baby brother back home. I was filled with sheer joy.

Attending yoga lessons. It was after enrolling to the yoga lessons that I learned how it could be refreshing.

Valuable lessons

Life is now. Regardless of how much people try to tell you that you still have a future, I believe that the way in which we live our lives currently will dictate our future.

Friendships need care. It is imperative to warrant that one maintains their friends. This is because there is need to build social relationships with other people.

Experience is the best teacher. It is through the experiences that we have on a daily basis that help us learn about our failures and help us avoid them.

I am Chinese. Sometimes people mistake me for being a Korean.

I have two baby brothers. I only learned that I had a smaller one recently.

I have participated in many online games. I have never won one though.

Sometimes when I get bored, I play table tennis. I believe that I am good at it.

I am a social person. I can talk to anyone. Its learning different perspectives from other people that I believe I can grow even better.

My parents do not like the idea of me studying abroad.

I have been secretly working out so that I maintain my health.

I do not love traveling.

I love reading books. I have read all Harry Potter novels.

I appear much older than I actually am.

I have never learned swimming.

My smaller brother actually believes that I am a teacher in the United States.
