Introduction

The literature of Uncle Tom's Cabin and Blakes are some of the articles that were presented in the 19th century. Author Martin R. Delany wrote Blake Novel in 1859. Harriet Beecher wrote uncle Tom Cabin in 1852. Uncle Tom's Cabin Henry Blake was used as the main character in the book on the challenges of slaves. Martin wrote this book as a response to the Fugitive slave Act of 1850 that was drafted in the reaction of the slavery effect that happened in society. The author heard a lot of factors that motivated him to write this book. He published the Novel with an Anglo-African Magazine in the year 1859 (Beecher,1896). The article "Uncle Tom's Cabin" and Blakes were portraying some of the challenges that blacks were facing in society. The authors stated that critically illustrated the oppression, suffering, and pain that the black people were undergoing (Beecher,1896). The novels also addressed domestic and international concerns. The effect of the slave trade also was analyzed by the author effectively by the authors of both of the articles. The transatlantic slave trade also was described as a challenge to Blake's freedom and peace during this period. The book "Uncle Tom's Cabin" illustrated how slavery could destroy the world, and he also demonstrated how Christian love could also transform the world to make it a beautiful place. The book by Beecher illustrated the scene when Abraham Lincoln met Stowe during the beginning of the civil war. The Lincoln phrase used in the article described a deeper meaning and understanding of the effect of civil war on slavery cause in the region. Beecher used the book to describe black people who were stereotyped during the war period; for instance, "mammy" and "pickaninny" names used in describing young children (Beecher,1896). The poverty level of the Shelby family made them sell Uncle Tom, with his wife and the child.

Stowe's Novel draws a more profound feeling and understanding to his reader as he used man as the main character and illustrates some of the suffering and oppression slavery brought to the African American residents. The Novel by Martin Delany "Blake" was advocating for the black people to rise and fight for oppression and resist slavery trade. Delany used several styles in reaching his message to his readers; fiction was one of the techniques he deployed in his book "Blake" (Clymer 2003). Delany also used his book in describing the social situations that happen around the society in one perspective to another. He also described one incident where a black boy was brutally abused by the white man who wanted him to entertain his guests in the plantation. Delany also described the cruelty of some of the families who were split and together with the slave women who were brutally mutilated by the white officials. The character Henry was used by the author as a savior to the black slave people in the Novel. He is seen angered the slaves by protesting the act of auctioning the black slaves. The slaves who were working in the plantation were undergoing various challenges, such as oppression and suffering from their masters.

There are various philosophies that Harriet Beecher used in his book "Uncle Tom's Cabin." According to his illustration of the slavery oppression and suffering, he stated that the desire for money and power are some of the philosophies that motivated the slavery acts (Beecher,1896). Beecher used several characters as a way of describing the current situation that occurred during the slavery period. In the book, Beecher also described the experiences of a significant role in the fight against slavery in society.

Martin Delany, in his book "Blake," used a philosophy of fiction of describing to his readers the impact of slavery on the African American society. The author also categorically explained how certain characters face oppression and torture from their masters in the community. In his book, "Blake "described the social, economic, and political factors that contributed to the slavery challenge in society(Clymer 2003). In his book, he also described challenges that African American society was undergoing during this period in culture.

Choice and Interpretation of Evidence

The book by Uncle Tom's Cabin adequately described the slavery oppression and mistreatments that African Americans were undergoing while providing their services to their masters. However, there were mixed reactions and interpretations of different people in society. In the southern part of America, there was a deeply mixed reaction among the citizens who refuted Breecher's claims as false and declared the book not to be sold in society. Booksellers were being denied the privilege of selling the book as they though it propagates violence in society (Acharya et al., 2016). Stowe, in his book, categorically stated that slavery was a mean way of destroying the black supremacy and growth in society. According to my understanding, Stowe used his art as a way of transforming society to be a better place for each and every person in the community.

According to Martin Delany's book "Blake, "he stated that black slavery was a way of violating human right and justice to the black race in the United States society. The author also was opposed to the cruelty and abusive conduct that the black people were undergoing. Blake used his writing art and skills in explaining and illustrating some of the challenges black people were facing in society(Singleton 2015). His book helped in the transformation of literary work in society.

The article, Uncle Tom's Cabin, helped in the transformation of American literature. Various authors were motivated by the article by Stowe and began to focus on writing. The book by Stowe has helped to the transformation of the human rights measures and equality to the American society. Martin Delany's novel "Blake" brought a huge literary influence to most writers as they developed the desire and urged in providing in their art. The book also changed the social relations of seeing black as the slave tools in society. According to Delany, slavery is a significant challenge for social growth and development, after releasing his book their specific measures that were implemented in enhancing and effective social change. The book also has educated most individuals in some of the ways of strengthening effective operation structures in society.
