Bonnie and Clyde (dir. Arthur Penn, 1967).

Bonnie and Clyde is a crime film that features on a small-time Clyde Barrow who tries to steal a car and ends up with his owner's daughter unsatisfied. The couples indulge in naughty activities, but their acts were never brought to book. This encouraged them, and they ended up changing from simple, pretty theft to bank robbery which creates much tension between the couples and the rest of the community. It is evident that one may start naughty act from simple things that people may consider not to have any value but later progresses to something more. In as much as the act is against the expectation of the community, the couples further receive tension from another gang member. To some considerable degree, one can see that there is some advancement in the women's role it comes to the heist. In the 1940s, women used to take other roles that portrayed them positively, but with the new generation, everything can be cover by either gender. From this point of view, this film adds value to the research topic by highlighting some of the success stories associated with women. As such, one can make a valid assumption about the research topic.

The film falls into the genre of comedy and gangster, and it features on ex-convict (Maxwell) who was denied a loan to start his own business. As an alternative option, Maxwell together with friends resolves to rob the bank. With the help of his friends, they collectively plan and engineers a car accident to raise enough finances to buy the luggage store close to the bank. The group becomes successful, and they brought the luggage store before they began to burrow the basement of the bank. They are later interrupted by the anticipating achievement of their business. Just like any other movie, the film has portrayed negative thoughts of men. This places the women in a better position where their roles have not been negatively represented. This was majorly facilitated by Tony's absence while he was serving his sentence in jail. Therefore, the film expounds issues of the heist as Tony and his crew tried to appear clean, but their achievement after the job was completed was threatened by everyone that was involved. This made them not to be successful. As evident in this film, it is clear that men have been associated with negative actions. Right from the beginning, the protagonist has bad records with the government but he is trying all he can to keep himself clean.
