Tariq-Munir argues that the process of Muslim women wearing hijab in the USA is a multifaceted concept which entails both social and familial factors. The article also discusses the reactions of the families where these women come from the hijab and the mechanisms that they should adopt to minimize such kinds of mistreatment.
