Introduction

Diplomacy is the representation of government to other foreign governments; the US government is represented in almost all countries around the globe. Therefore the United States has engaged diplomacy as a tool in which it has, on many occasions, used in foreign policies. The presidents have made ceremonial visits to other countries to American allies and other essential to demonstrate the American friendship (Ginsberg et al., 2018). Consequently, US heads of state have invited dignitaries to the White House where they hold diplomatic meetings to achieve the nation are both political and trade interests. In this regard, the United States has enacted many foreign policies through the diplomatic relation. The purpose for this work is to discuss about the tools the US has used to conduct its foreign policy and other related issues.

The United Nations is an organization founded in 1945 to provide a platform for negotiation and means of settling disputes among countries (Ginsberg et al., 2018). The United Nations has seen many successes in solving issues such a trade disagreement among countries in order to avoid confrontations that may drive back to another world war. For instance, the United Nations hasbefore ordered the Chinese government to remove all trade barriers of importing poultry from the United State of America (“The Right Immigration Policy”, 2020). It has played a significant role in maintaining a harmonious state among other countries. This helps the United States to remain in good terms and maintain good diplomatic relations with other countries.

After World War II, the United States of America called upon friendly nations to send envoys to a summit on global monetary policy. The event took place in New Hampshire buttonwood (Hemingway & Hemingway, 2020). The purpose of the conference was to promote open markets and stabilize the currency exchange. British treasury chief John Maynard Keynes and US treasury head Harry Dexter White were the driving forces that established the conference. The event increases the diplomatic relationship between the United States and its allied nations who attended the conference in 1944.

Conclusion

In conclusion, a good diplomatic relationship with other countries has ensured that the United States of America is able to implement very favourable policies that serve the best interest of the country.
