Introduction
Personal ethics are very crucial for every person, be it a business person, a student, or an employee. Therefore, I have a strong belief that personal ethics are not limited to workplace settings but also extended to society and family at large (Griffin et al., 2017). As an individual, I adhere to personal ethics since it helps me to become a better person. I am an honest person, and thus I fit to work in any business environment with minimal or no supervision. Since my childhood stage up to date, the truth has always mattered a lot to me as compared to anything else at any given time.
Honesty
My personal ethics of honesty has directed me away from minor distractions that several people face at some time, such as stealing and cheating in examination (Hartman et al., 2014). I have stood up for what is always right, and it has assisted me in becoming who I am today. Through organization training and personal reading, I will strive to expand my intellectual skills and knowledge once I get the privilege (Trevino & Nelson, 2016). Also, in terms of time management, I always manage my time effectively, and I cannot be distracted by unplanned activities.
Essential Activities
I am determined and committed to offering all my services towards achieving the business requirements since they are essential activities that must be done to attain the organizational goals and objectives. I am a law-abiding person, and therefore, I will abide by the organization’s laws at any given time. Once given an opportunity in an organization, I will devote all my time and energy towards business requirements as the first priority thereafter comes the technical expediency (Sekerka et al., 2014). My basic personal ethics has enabled me to learn in terms of security and personal privacy protection. Therefore, I am committed to ensuring that I adhere to all legal requirements set by the organization regarding the data auditability and retention (Pasquier et al., 2018). I will ensure that data privacy is protected with the highest integrity it deserves as guided by organization laws. I will always ensure that I have high ethical standards at work, as outlined by the organization (Ferrell, 2016). I will adhere to the set rules and regulations that govern the operation in the organization at any given moment. In data collection and protection of customer’s privacy, I will ensure that there are accuracy and information will not land to the unauthorized hands.
Conclusion
In conclusion, my personal ethics will continuously impact my actions and decisions at the workplace and in society during any dilemma. Therefore, I am ready once I come across more ethics, which will assist me to boost my professional and personal growth; I will not hesitate to adopt them.
