Every culture has six dimensions, including biological variations, communication techniques, time, social organization, space, and environmental control. The aspects distinctively influence the productivity and fulfilment of individuals in an organization.
According to Azzopardi & McNeill (2016), some of the things that determine how people behave and respond to cultures include heritage, family roles, and the environment at the workplace.
Thesis
This research will look at the importance of cultural competence in the workplace. Look at the background of the problem in real estate. Also, the study will be designed and advance scientific knowledge in the areas of diversity and inclusion training, multicultural competence, and sales productivity and company profitability effectiveness. Also, through questioners and analysis, the paper will be able to add insights on how cultural competence in the workplace can be enhanced to improve on the service delivery and improve productivity.
Background of the Problem
Cultural competence means being able to entirely appreciate the importance of social and cultural influence on individual beliefs and behaviour. Organizations can utilize the cultural differences to improve on many areas of their organization depending on diverse customer needs which in return can propel the business for the better (Chiu & Shi, 2019). The rigidity of employees to a particular culture can also harm the productivity of any given company, therefore, the employees should always be versatile to accommodate various cultures, or the organization should consider hiring from different cultures.
Problem Statement
“It is not known how real estate agents describe the influence on cultural competence sales, productivity and buyers satisfaction.”
Purpose of the Study
The paper shows that different people have diverse cultures that need to be utilized skillfully in the place of work to enhance intrapersonal interaction and improve on service delivery to the customers. Further, it shows that the employees must be aware of the diverse cultures and respond to them accordingly. Like in the real estate business, for example, various cultural competence can significantly improve the interpersonal relationship between the employees and the customers, thus maintaining or widening customer base. As a result, there will be increased sales and therefore, more profit to the organization.
Research
The research narrows down to real estate business in California and explores how cultural competence in the workplace enhances service delivery to improve productivity and increase sales. In California, there are several companies engaged in real estate business; therefore, it is vital to enhance cultural competence in the workplace to be able to operate competitively.

- RQ 1 How does cultural competence influence the productivity of real estate agents in California?
- RQ 2 How does cultural competence determines buyers' satisfaction in the real estate business in California?
Communication
Ability to communicate well determines how one relates with people and more so in understanding the customer needs (Santos Dietz et al., 2017). It is vital to exhibit a high level of competency in this area to realize and enhance a better intrapersonal relationship, improve customer satisfaction and recognize increased sales.
Nature of the Research Design for the Study
A specific case study would require a particular approach in data collection and analysis so that a research question is adequately answered. Not all methods would work in any field to address a specific concern (Chiu & Shi, 2019). To be able to identify features, trends in business, correlation of behaviour and productivity, then descriptive research would be the ideal choice.
Data Collection
Data collection methods should be designed in a way that the employees and the organization can participate openly and give the much-needed information to enable the research come out with conclusions that will assist in improving the sector (Santos Dietz et al., 2017). In the case of real estate, questioners will significantly help in gathering the needed information from this industry.
Data Analysis Procedure
After gathering data, it is essential to have a plan for data analysis so that the raw data can make a scientific sense in line with the research questions. Also, this will help in drawing accurate conclusions that can be used in the field of research to improve the operations of a business (Santos Dietz et al., 2017).
Ethical Considerations
While taking ethical considerations for the study, it is crucial to consider the three core principles of Belmont, which are respect for persons, beneficence and justice. The company where the research will be conducted in extensive cooperation (Chiu & Shi, 2019). Having direct access to the Vice President of the corporation will quicken the authorization process so that the research process can commence quickly.
Communication
While sharing the finds, it is imperative to protect the rights of the respondents, give the needed information to the beneficence so that the findings can be put into practice for better results (Chiu & Shi, 2019).
