Reflection

The countrys rugged and mountainous terrain has helped sports lovers enjoy the popular alpine skiing standing out as its promotion and tourist attraction. The geographical landscape of the country has enabled it to focus and tap into team sports such as ice hockey. For example, the country has a permanent track for hosting skiing situated Igls. Alpine skiing has given the country prominence and recognition globally as they pride in hosting sporting events such as Winter Olympics. It has hosted massive sporting competitions such as the 1964 Winter Olympics and the 2012 Winter Youth Olympics. In fact, sports especially the Alpine skiing has played a vital role in establishing a national consciousness and boosting the country's self-confidence especially after the devastating effects of World War II. The state's favorable climate has enabled the production of some of the best and oldest wines in human history. The government decree in which citizens are allowed to sell wine from their homes has expanded production of wine to over 20,000 small wine producers. Wine production in the country has given the citizens a unique identification of priding in the manufacture of the best wines globally.

Austrians have heavily been influenced by their cultural environment in the manufacture of unique blends of music and art. Famous music composers such as Johann Strauss, Jr., Joseph Haydn, and Anton Bruckner trace their musical career to the country's cultural music background, recognized as the center of music production. It's classical music production and patronage identified the capital city as Europe's center of classical musicians and music. For example, Hebert von Karajan dominated the country music scene all through the 20th century with classical music. Music has continued to define and shape the careers of many students in the country as they try to keep with the countrys cultural music trend.

Many prominent personalities have developed their careers in music, cinema, and theater production. Notable figures include Peter Lorre, Oskar Werner, and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Many of the directors, film producers, actors, and movie stars rose to prominence with figures like Michael Haneke receiving awards for their contribution to the cultural growth of music and art in the country. 190502399030Priding itself of renown centers such as Melk Abbey, Vienna State Opera, and Seefeld, Tyrol for accommodation, visiting and touring Austria could be a dream come true. According to Brunner (2015), the country's deep cultural heritage, breathtaking sports (Alpine Skiing), Formula 1 races, and magnificent landscapes stand out as the most attractive tourist centers and places. The country's rugged mountains, skiing resorts such as St Anton am Arlberg would stand out as my first visits. For an excellent view of the hills, taking a ride on the Grossglockner Alpine Road would give me a breathtaking scenery of the countrys mountains. Visiting Austria and failing to pay a visit to the Schonbrunn Palace would deny one the experience of a lifetime. Schonbrunn Palace is the countrys major tourist attraction place. It provides for many attraction centers such as the Marble Summerhouse (sitting on top of a 60 m foot hill) and Palace Park, Privy Garden. The Palace dates back to 1696, a significant feature and place to visit.
