To finish the journey, Hoopoe said that you must pass through the valley of love to reach your destination. The main theme of this valley is true love. The lines that support this are "the lover is a man who flares and burns," "true lovers give up everything they own to steal a moment with a friend alone." The lover is described as someone who is selfless and who goes any length in the name of love. Love is both complicated and hard to understand. Love does not understand intellect; it does not understand someone's status in the society. When it strikes you should be ready to give up all for all or nothing. Love is a risk in one way or another. Love is inevitable everyone has to pass through this journey.
The contemporary issue that we can apply this is the issue of love relationships and most importantly marriage. Many are the times we have seen broken marriages, broken relationships, broken engagements, issues about arranged marriages and also people who have chosen to give up on the issue of love altogether. At the same time, we have witnessed successful marriages, people growing old together people jumping through hoops in the name of love, well we have witnessed it all. It is well stated that if you have to choose that road you have to go fully, you have to take the necessary risks because it is bound to burn. Most who have chosen to go in full have had their share of experiences. It is a risk; it could work or not work, but there is no other way to go about it. The only way to know if it is going to work or not is by getting in fully with both feet immersed. They say that the depth of water is not done so with both feet but with love it is different. There is no option of being lukewarm. You either get in or get in. Those who have made the sacrifice have reaped their fruits bad or good.
Conclusion
In this society, we are living in divorce cases, and broken engagements have been on the rise. This rise has been because people or the parties involved in the partnership have lacked the understanding of love. People get married for the wrong reasons and break up for the wrong reasons. Love conquers everything. It conquers all adversity or storm that the said people may face thus people should only get married on the grounds of love. In some parts of the world, people have arranged marriages with the belief that they are going to learn to love each other. It is not possible you cannot learn to love someone. Love should come first then marriage. In this world we are living in right now we see people getting married on the grounds of wealth or some even succumb to the societal pressure. Those who get married for purposes of wealth break up when that wealth ends and those who marry due to the pressure from society break up when the reality checks in and realize that there is no love. Those who marry out of love are the only ones who enjoy the saying till death do us part. They are the ones who enjoy the fruits of true love. However, careful if you fall in love with the wrong person and the wrong person, in this case, is someone who does not share the same feelings as you. This is where it burns the most. This is when you get to experience the ugliness of love. But nothing ventured nothing gained.
