Merde If they needed their shit stirred
Then agitated their shit was jolly
Well working to be
Like most Parisians
I was also sick of my neighbors
I know knew every second
Of the morning routine of the family upstairs
An alarm goes off at 7.00 am
Madame gets out of bed
Puts on her deep-sea divers' boot
And stomps across my ceiling
To megaphone the kids awake
Bags are dropped of cannonballs by the kids
Onto the floor
Several sledgehammers are
Dragged and each
Stampede into the kitchen
Chunks of baguette are grabbed
And go and sit in front of the TV
A cartoon is shown
People who do nothing are shown
Screaming at each explode
One of the kids
Cartwheels back into the kitchen
For seconds every minute
Then returns to the TV
The toilet is flushed in the meanwhile
Urine is expelled fifty times
Per drop in average
A ten-minute period of yelling
That is intensive is finally done
At 8.15 on the dot
Howling and crashing is done
Their way out of the apartment
To school
