Introduction

Have you wondered how the space shuttle finds its way into the moon? Or rather, how the ships find their way in the high seas? Every person has a field of interest that he or she likes to know more about it. Not everyone loves watching movies. The foods we eat, the books we read and everything that appears in the vicinity arouse the curiosity of every human being to know the cause or effects. The documentary films majorly address these interest areas. As a result, people find themselves attracted to documentary films addressing their areas of interest. Apart from that, they bring into life past occurrences that might have great historical concerns such as the "Titanic," and therefore fulfills the curiosity of the people.

The principal reason to listen is that people are driven by curiosity to fulfill the "how" questions about the real-life occurrences either in the past or in the present time such as the latest technology, accidents, food production, medical procedures, etc. According to Fraser (2012), it is imperative to know about such matters.

From reality to the movie, documentaries remain a crucial problem-solving tool to the people. The credibility statement I have ever been curious is about the things I see around or hear about for as long as I can remember. Also, I have watched numerous collections of documentary films addressing various issues from the internet and also monitored others' behaviors in watching movies, and I have realized that even if not everyone likes watching movies, documentary films are viral.

Body

Based on the findings, the following are the main reasons why documentary movies are favorite. Documentary movies are problem-solving tools to our curiosity. One is that some documentary movies explain how things come into existence such as new products in the market. Secondly, some of them depict historical matters of public concern such as the "Titanic" movie, and finally other entails intuitive contents about nature.

For instance, documentaries address a wide range of concerns from nature, wildlife, technology, education, etc. (Wintonick, 2013). For example, documentaries addressing processes such as the production procedures give detailed information of the various procedures raw materials go through to become finished products thereby act as problem solution to those interested in knowing the different production procedures. Documentary films cater to everyone's interest, therefore, making them very popular among people across different age groups.

Another example is that, apart from their problem-solving properties, documentaries are also represented in a very realistic way, which brings life into the movie and shows the actual processes precisely as they appear in real life situation. In light of the practical nature of documentary films, they serve as a cure to our curiosity and therefore ignite great popularity with most people.

Having learned the problem-solving capacity offered by the documentaries, let us also see how these movies can bring entertainment to their viewers. Documentary movies entertain their audience. Every film entertains their audience. According to Quinn (2013), documentaries command greater enthusiasm and thrill for those who watch them. Additionally, the modest presentation of documentary movies brings refreshment to the mind and brain of the viewers. Moreover, documentaries enlighten their viewers with the vast knowledge that they may be receiving for the very first time. Therefore, they enhance the joy in gaining new or additional knowledge about a subject of interest (Wintonick, 2013).

Documentaries can also depict a production process offer breathtaking moments as the raw materials are passed through different unique machines that continuously transform them from one form to the other. The sighting of these processes can be very magnificent to view alongside the knowledge they impact. More so, the clarity and natural simplicity in which documentaries are presented offer great enthusiasm in the mind of the audience thereby creating a very interactive and enjoyable experience as they go through the movie. Notably, this attracts many people to documentary films in contrast to the other fictional movies which may address issues that may not necessarily exist or have not occurred anywhere.

The natural settings are seen in documentaries enhance brain engagement as they convince the viewers to believe that they watch the real presence of what happens (McLane, 2012). Therefore, these movies are more popular as compared to the fictional films.

Conclusion

In this speech, I discussed the two main reasons why certain movies are favorite. In this case, I considered the documentary movies and outlined the following reasons; First, documentary movies serve as problem-solving tools to our curiosity and Secondly, documentary movies entertain their audience. Thus, from reality to the movie, documentaries remain a crucial problem-solving tool to the people.

As I conclude, it is significant to know that humans are inquisitive beings who want to explore nature and their surroundings to discover the various happenings. These needs are carefully addressed by documentary movies that take their viewers through every step and detail of their matter of concern.
