Introduction
The minority film report is identified as one of the unique films that work in making strong efforts to stop crime before such case happens. Technically, the minority report is recognized as 2002 science fiction movie that is directed by one prominent director Spielberg Steven with the film being set in the 2054 year and the platform being laid in Washington D.C. The movie a broader focus on the precrime and it is identified to be revolving under an elite law enforcing squad. With the enlistment of the three teen precogs, the movie is quite clear that the pre-cogs are ending up to predict some of the future killers with the authority swooping in and making sure that the murders are arrested before the organize the platform of participating in the crime. During the first scene, things tend to be going very well until Anderton, one police officer who is played by Tom Cruise is suspected. From a general view, one can tell that the precrime decision is making use of Pre-Cogs who are identified as the three genetically altered human beings who are in possession of special powers when it comes to predicting the crimes before they happen and generally seeing into the future. The Steven Spielberg "Minority Report" forms part and parcel of a science fiction film that has two different domain mix which includes the scientific as well as the spiritual domain.
Through the film "Minority Report", it is quite clear that technological sophistication without integrity and character as the foundation is generally bound to backfire. This is clearly demonstrated with a film that bridges the futuristic science through the general realm of the psychic. Through the story, ethical dilemmas and moral is expressed through technology. The central theme that is directing the movie revolve around a precrime concept where Anderton as one great protagonist that is natured striving to save the emotional pain that people would face and to generally avert crime. Since he had gone through the loss of her child earlier, the only motivation that is existing in his life that makes him go. However, in one of the precogs, Anderton sees himself as one great criminal and he could agree with such a fact.in the story, one great irony in the theme of the movie is that Burgess commits a murder by succumbing to usual human weakness and is identified to be blinded to the sin of the murder.
Generally, after every crime is predicted and a good analysis is made on it, what transpires is that the precrime police officer is then moved to the crime location so as to place the criminal under arrest and to apprehend some of the future murders. Notably, it is important to note that after such an action, the future murders are then subjected to a sleep state through one technical device which is recognized as "halo". On the other hand, from a general aspect of the minority report, the suggestion is that human form part of the free willed creature that is in a great position of making changes on some of the things that will take place in the future.
Focusing on one significant section of the movie, one amazing part is that before one great character by the name Anderton being haloed, it is clear that Anderton was capable of managing piece and back the puzzle and finally acknowledged who was setting him up and the general reason as to why he being targeted. What transpires is that he knew more about Ann Lively who is well known to be the mother of Agatha who came back to take her child with Burgess making sure she is killed so that the precrime are kept viable since Agatha has great powers and he is identified as one of the strongest existing creatures when comparison is made among the three Pre-Cogs. On the other hand, the Burges are then setting up Anderton so that Anderton knowledge is covered up on the Lively's murder about Ann.
On the other hand, Lara who in the film is recognized as Anderton's wife raised suspicion with Lamar, this made her take action of visiting Anderton and making him come out of his sleep. It is also important to note that during the precrime program celebratory dinner, Anderton is seen to be calling Burgess and viewed to be making a strong confrontation on him during a moment when the Lively's death Pre-Cog 's footage is being played just for the guest to take a view of it. It is very clear that during the period when Burgess was looking for Anderton, it was predetermined by the Precogs that Burgess was in the process of shooting and ensuring that Anderton is killed.
Things turn out to change as Burges finds and take a move of drawing a gun on Anderton, great dilemma transpires since Burgess realize the dilemma that he was in an and he is portrayed to be in a position where he is a position of either killing or shooting Anderton. Through such a scenario one is capable of learning that Precrime is one of the flawless and a well-established division. However, by performing so, he ends up turning out to be a greater murderer. However, through the event that followed, he ends up sparing Anderton's life demonstrating that Precrime is nothing but a great failure, in general, .it also demonstrates that all the efforts and the serious hard work that was put down into work went down in vain.
From a philosophical aspect, it is minority report has formed a part of a fool-proof system that is born to make sure that absolute system is working, however when everything goes down, should one go against all the things that it is standing for. This is a key feature that the minority report film has demonstrated to us through the Precrime that is making use of the system that forms part and parcel of Precogs when it comes to predicting all the crimes in the future. However, focusing at the system, everything is viewed to have backfired the moment that Anderton himself is facing the serious accusation of doing away with a life of a man that himself he is not even aware of.
Conclusion
Finally, through the "Minority report movie", it is identified to be revolving around the psychic power and the precognitive abilities of three individuals who are recognized as precogs as a significant tool that one can use to fight crime. However, ethical dilemma and morals are unfolding as Anderton who had in the past put some unconditional faith in the system of precrime is shaken up, great expression of remorse is identified as he is feeling guilty on how the system is operating, he start questioning on whereabouts of individuals "whom I put away with any futures"
