Hybrid vehicles are vehicles that are powered by electric motors and an internal combustion engine; the vehicle can use either of the engines (Feng). The vehicle is not charged manually by connecting to a power source but rather charges itself through regenerative braking. Electric vehicles are the vehicles that use electric motors for propulsion. The motors use batteries that charged. Hybrid and electric vehicles are increasingly being used in cities to reduce the amount of pollution released by vehicles that use fossil fuels for propulsion. There are more benefits brought by the use of electric vehicles when compared to vehicles that use fossil fuels.

The other benefits of electric and hybrid vehicles include less environmental pollution because there is less emission of fossil fuels to the environment. The emission of fossil fuels to the environment is believed to be among the biggest contributors to pollution in the world (Kalpesh). Electricity is among sources of clean energy in vehicles because once the vehicle is fully charged there is no emission of chemical substances that are released to the environment. The batteries used by the vehicles can be used for a more extended period of time; hence, there are no frequent disposals to the environment that might cause pollution. The hybrid vehicles use fewer fossil fuels; hence, they reduce the number of fossil fuels that the vehicles consume when compared to traditional vehicles that consume fossil fuels only.

The other benefit of hybrid and electric vehicles is the financial benefit where the running and maintenance costs are lower than other typical vehicles that use fossils fuels (Ferreiro). The prices of running vehicles that use the fossil fuels are high because of the high prices that the fuels are sold at. Hybrid and electric vehicles are less expensive to run because electricity is cheaper than fossils fuels. Some governments have come with incentives of offering free charging to users. The cost of running the vehicles is significantly reduced. Some governments have also come up with incentives of lower tax bills and exemptions to buyers are a measure to encourage them to buy hybrid and electric vehicles.

Hybrid and electric vehicles lead to less dependence on fossil fuels that have created over-dependence in fossil fuels making the prices to increase rapidly. The hybrid vehicles have two engines, one using fossil fuel and the other using charged battery power for propulsion (Ferreiro). Owners of such vehicles have do not need to worry about running out of fuels while travelling. Owners have an alternative source of energy when facing challenges with a source of energy. There are times when one might not have fossil fuel because of various reasons; then they can use the alternative source of power to commute. When the price of fossil fuels goes up, then the owner of the vehicle can use the alternative means to survive.

Hybrid and electric vehicles are made of lighter materials to manage the weight of the vehicles. The light materials reduce the amount of energy consumed by the vehicle to move (Kalpesh). The light materials help in reducing the damage that vehicles cause to roads hence reducing the costs that are incurred by governments to repair the roads. The light construction materials are also cheaper, reducing the costs and hence making the vehicles affordable. For those of you who want to help the government reduce expenditure, I would encourage them to adopt hybrid and electric vehicles.

The costs of maintaining hybrid and electric vehicles are relatively low when compared to standard fuel vehicles because they are more computerized (Vimukthi). Ladies and gentlemen, the challenges that you experience from your mechanics while diagnosing the challenges facing the vehicles. Electric vehicles are easy to fix the challenges making it easy to fix the challenges facing the vehicles. I would urge you guys to purchase electric vehicles to enjoy the benefits that the vehicles offer to clients. Once you purchase these vehicles, they will provide you with great service for some time without requiring service. The vehicles will provide you with affordable and quality travel services.

In conclusion, electric and hybrid vehicles offer a better deal when compared to standard fuel vehicles; therefore, I urge you to consider purchasing them. They are less expensive to maintain and offer better services better than standard fuel vehicle. Hybrid and electric vehicles have less pollution on the environment; therefore, they will help reduce pollution released to the environment. Purchasing the electric vehicles are the vehicles of the future based on their make and services; hence, I would convince you to purchase one.
