The racial self-loathing comes from the ideas of inferiority that the oppressing party plants into the minds of the party that they are oppressing. When one is made to feel inferior continuously, they will end up believing it to be true.

The expectations placed on young girls by society is that they will submit to the demands of beauty and traditional expectations of the domestic value of women which is to do chores for the family. Objectification of girls also starts early in their lives, and they are conditioned to becoming what the societies think they should be from a young age through the toys that they are given. In the end, the expectations become too much, and they end up killing the young girls, either literally or emotionally and mentally.

This is seen in the way they treat their step-sister Cinderella instead of working together to achieve the common goals, which were to join the royal family. Instead, they work to bring her down, and this shows the extents women go to ensure no one goes above them, in the process, making them all stay down.

Men show a somewhat competitive nature, but they also have more cooperation in their competition. They are a little less malicious in their completive strategies, although they have more potent plans of reaching their goals.
