Notably, sports betting is existing, and many people have involved themselves in betting activities. Betting has posed the lives of many people to danger. For instance, recently, some marital issues are being reported worldwide brought by the issue of betting.

Several women have been complaining about their husbands who avoid taking the family responsibilities after using money that could be used to cater for the family needs in betting while hoping to win a massive amount of money but end up losing everything in the bet( Patford, 2009). Many women have been forced to divorce their husbands particularly those who are addicted to it and cannot stop betting even after the registration of a complaint from the wives. The separation has resulted in single parenthood where children lack the fatherly care affecting their psychological growth. Therefore, betting should not be legalized everywhere. Legalizing betting implies that society will be introducing more miseries to various marriages and children sufferings. Relevantly, if women, even though some do bet, can be allowed to provide a judgement on this issue, many will support the banning of the sports betting.

Sports betting should not be legalized everywhere because it has been resulting in suicide. Many incidents have been reported during sports news that many members of the societies are taking away their lives particularly after losing the bet they placed. For instance, if an individual might be convinced that a specific big team will win the match against a small team, he or she can end up placing a large stake in favour of the big club. Unfortunately, if the small team wins, an individual stands a chance of losing a huge sum of money that forces him or her to commit suicide (Cosgrave, 2008). Most importantly, the huge cash could money borrowed to refund after winning or money that could be meant for the catering for the family needs. Thus, legalizing sports betting everywhere implies that the society will be legalizing suicide committing results in depopulation and suffering of the victim's family mainly if the deceased was the breadwinner of that family. Either, the victim children may end up dropping out f school due to lack of a person to pay their school fees mainly when the father was the only one who was paying their fees. Many people have been losing their lives both the youths and adults after losing a massive bet placed particularly, in football matches. Therefore, sports betting should be banned rather than being legalized everywhere to save society from unnecessary deaths.

Nevertheless, sports betting should not be legalized everywhere because it has been adversely affecting the education sector. For instance, it has been realized based on the statistical data that youths of which most are students at the colleges have been betting uncontrollably. Betting has been reported to be the cause of some college students dropping from school after they lose school fees on placing a large bet on a sure bet team when that team finally loses. Many students have gone missing from school after betting using schools fees because they do not know how they can recover the money lost to betting. Either, they go missing even to their families because they cannot explain how they have lost the fess in the name of betting. This has been preventing the affected students from achieving their academic dreams that could be transformed inharnazingto innovations to society. Similarly, sports betting has been one of the reasons for poor performance in colleges. For instance, many students engage in betting and forgets to study. These students spend most of the time in analyzing different games by doing comparative analysis from different prediction sites found on the internet. These students will finally perform poorly when they sit for their exams forcing some to repeat a unit while some end being discontinued due to failure to perform at all. Therefore, sports betting should not be legalized everywhere. Eventually, sports betting should not be legalized because it is one of the root cause of the match-fixing in which one team does not give its best in the filed so that the opposing teams gets the desired result after the match. Mostly, some few players might decide to lose the game so that a betting firm can make profits. Either, these players can also be indirectly involved in betting that specific match, so they have to play pathetically so that they win the bet thus interfering with the fair play and affecting the sports sector( Haberfeld & Sheehan,2013).
