In research, the component is important as it will be utilized in measuring the energy which is consumed by LEDs. The component can be blown past the limitations of 5 volts and might measure a maximum of 26 volts DC [1]. In industries, voltage sensor provides easier automation and monitoring. The reason is that this type of voltage sensor is more inaccurate and precise as compared to others.

In industrial automation and monitoring, the Current Sensor ACS712 component is important because it offers solutions for DC or AC current sensing in commercial, communications, and industrial [2]. Therefore, in saving situations like that, there is a need for measuring the required current which confirms the importance of sensors. Using Arduino Uno in industrial automation and monitoring is important. The reason is that it simplifies the peripheral circuit system and the system as a whole extensible and flexible. It also allows the connection and use of different kinds of sensors. It shows the importance of IoT as it has given organizations the chance of being aggressive and agile to pursue new business models and revenue streams [5]. Arduino microcontroller should be adopted by organizations since it offers a highly viable alternative. As it is compatible with sensors, this helps it to offer the needed feedback and control the system through corrective measures. The use of the conventional system and PLC needs excellent technical expertise and wiring. Therefore. Arduino assists in reducing manufacturing, assembling, and cost of maintenance in some situations [5]. Although it cannot entirely replace the existing systems, it can be used as a viable option.

Wi-Fi Shield

This is a component that connects to the board of Arduino using headers that have long wire-wrap extending to the shield. Its aim is to keep the layout of the pin intact and even provide the chance of stacking another shield [4]. Furthermore, it allows wireless connecting to the Arduino board, and this is important in industrial automation and monitoring. Furthermore, it is important in industrial automation and monitoring as it is efficient and reliable. The reason is that it has the capacity of automatically connecting to the other Wi-Fi network. Furthermore, if there is no connection in the current network or rather, it does not have enough radio signal strength, then it can connect to another network automatically [4]. Furthermore, it offers its users with high mobility in the range of Wi-Fi signal as compared to the wired connection. Therefore, it plays an essential role in building an autonomous environment.

Cloud Computing

Cloud computing is a computing paradigm applicable in different areas, including enterprise and office systems. This component offers flexible and dynamic infrastructure in hosting resources for computing and delivering them in the form of the services on demand. IoT can only be fruitful by providing ways of analyzing data, and this makes cloud computing an enabler [3]. The automation suppliers can easily integrate the services of could computing in their systems and products. Some of the ways include eliminating the proprietary architectures, using the standards of open communication, and thinking based on services instead of discrete products. The other way is ensuring architecture systems are appropriately scaled in the clouds. For the systems of cloud-based IoT, it is important to block-store the architectures which are unable to offer instant machine images as they are prone to failures [3]. The new concepts of cloud computing technology in industrial automation are important as they will improve the offered services.
