Search Process
I found this source valuable in addressing the topic of this research. Finding this source involved using the keywords related to the topic of research such as, "start up business", "Business management", "business plan" and "entrepreneurship". The use of EBSCOhost research database made this process fruitful. This is a powerful online reference system that is accessible through the internet. The EBSCOhost offered a variety of propriety from the full-text database and accessible databases from the leading providers of information. To maximize the results, I had to restrict my search years within the last five years. This is crucial in ensuring that the data is current and reflects the current views of researchers about the topic.
Discernment
I discarded some of the sources obtained during my search processes. One of them is, "A consideration of the roles of business intelligence and e-business in management and marketing decision making in knowledge-based and high-tech start-ups" by Hill & Scott (2004). While it is evident this source was from a business journal, it did not provide valuable information that relates to the management of the start-up businesses, nor how to write a business plan.Evaluation
My primary rationale for the selection of this source was based on the validity and reliability of its content. This book offered a thorough overview of the topic. The quality check by the publisher, well-researched information, and inclusion of other references from other sources constitute the strength of this book. No noticeable weaknesses were observed.

To obtain this source, I used the keyword "start-up business plan" and "management". For reliability, the search was restricted to sources within a range of 5 years to ensure that the information obtained is up-to-date.
Discernment
The search process generated numerous sources, some of which were not important. A source like, "Analysis of internal barriers toward the growth of start-up business in Indonesia" by Awatara provided information regarding the establishment of the business. However, I did not find it necessary and appropriate because of its inappropriate content that did not answer our questions directly.

One major strength associated with this source is based on the fact that it includes the latest research which covers the particular topic of management of the newly established businesses. Additionally, the quality checked during the peer review process, and the list of references for future research makes this source valuable for this research.
