Additionally, there's worrying new study about teens screen time and their mental health. It has been acknowledged that kids or teens who spend most of their time on screen are more likely to suffer from mental illness.

Furthermore, it has been discovered that those kids are likely to dismally poor in class. This has been proven by studies done by various researchers in the health sector as well in the social part. This paper will examine the effects of screen time and the depression as well as the well-being of those kids who spend most of their timer on the screen.

Young individuals who tend to spend much of their tome and to be a specific total of seven god hours or more per day on the screens are much more likely to suffer from depression. It has also been discovered that those who spend seven hours are twice much more in risk to suffer from anxiety and depression as compared to those individuals who spend their one hour on screen per day.

A statistics which involved more than forty thousand kids aged between two and 17, The data was collected as part of the census of the year 2016 of the federal investigation of children's health. The report of the survey indicated that spending at least seven hours per day on the screen was nevertheless atypical among the younger children in the survey. The study finds out that probably 20% of those who took part in the study who were between 14 and seventeen years spend seven hours on the screens every day. The other report of another study also indicates that those kids who make use of the internet mostly are in most cases imitating from what their parents are doing. Their parents could be watching the screen on TV for roughly ten hours per day.

About the study, it also indicated that the associations between the times spend on the screen and the diagnoses of depression, as well as the anxiety, are directly proportional. The study also shows that kids who spend seven hours on screens are likely to be distracted more quickly than those who do not. From my point of view even, I can deduct that those kids who spend their time on smartphones or TVs are more likely to have a problem when it comes to finishing out the school assignments and the homework. This is however not the case to their counterparts who spend less time off the screens. Also when it comes to finishing duties including the school work, and personal chores such as cleanliness and dressing.

Majority of those kids also reports a negative trend especially and matters to do with punctuality. It emerges out that those students or youngster are becoming lazier each time. Additionally, it has not been left out to note that those very individual kids are turning out in a lesser degree among those individuals who are used to screens for at least four hours per day. The adolescent individuals are also not left out of the study; they have even more problems as compared to the younger children due to heavy usage of screen. In the modern day, where smartphones are all over the place, you will find out that most of those guys in adolescent are in constant usage of the gadget. This has both impacts on the mental health of the persons.

The new and most recent firms of media- that is smartphones, and social media such as Facebook and WhatsApp among other webpages are contributing more to the mental health of the kids and the adolescent. In this case, one will find out that those children in adolescent are not having enough sleep, the reason being on those social pages such as Facebook. Additionally, those kids who use much of their time of the screens are more likely to have rest and are lesser happy in comparison to those kids who are engaged in non-screen work such as sports and reading story books among other methods. The doctors, teachers and even the counselors have raised an alarm that screen exposure for long is contributing to mental depression and anxiety among the kids. The stakeholder links the condition to continued and increasing the use of smartphones among teens.

As I summarize my discussion, continuous use of the screens and the smartphones, apart from depression and anxiety, it also emits some dangerous rays which are more carcinogenic. These rays are issued when the kids spend more time watching - these results in cancer development.

Conclusion

In conclusion, it is advisable that kids should be allowed to spend at least an hours daily if necessary. That is kids between two and five years. However, they should not be restricted from using the same because it can lead to loneliness and gloomy among the kids.
