Method

The involvement of service users and caregivers in the mental health care system is quite a complicated process and influenced by a seamless interplay of the service provider, health system factors, and health facilities. It thus explains why it is hard to practically implement and develop the models on the best ways to involve the service user and caregivers.

The realist view can provide sound evidence in theory-driven form.
