The hardware system, which consists of a variety of elements that are customary for the primary functions of the corporation. There is a server that controls other devices in the office. The desktop computers are used for connecting to the networking drives that are used for storing data files, daily office duties. It also allows free transfer of data across all devices. The office settings are equipped with laptops that are used by employers. The ADP program application is used in managing the payrolls. The web portal is an online web application that allows users to activate and disable their user account, certificate of Insurance, safety training, exercises, exams, training videos, and other documentation concerning preventative maintenance for towing.

One will discuss a vital component, which is data. In this environment, data is being collected specifically to each managed towing facility. Data refers to the collection of information that is stored in a variety of databases, hard drives (inclusive of external), network drives. Within the office settings, one will pinpoint out three data-driven entities that are in operation.

MySql database consists of a CWS recovery web application which aid in the collection of data and identifying the time frame of the vehicle’s parking stay at a parking area. The last MySql consists of the Disaster Recovery Team web application, which aids in the collection and storing of data, which is, later on, analyzed determine the location and availability of brokers in the wait of a disaster such as a tornado, flood, tropical storm.

The fourth technology components are the people. Personnel’s aid in ensuring the office settings functions appropriately. The staff aid in supporting the towing facilities in the management of web applications, personnel, hardware, software, collection of data, compensation for workers, taxes, benefits, and accounting.

The final primary component is the process, which offers different options for achieving specific benchmarks. For example, the collection of data utilizing a web application is stored on a MySql database in two ways, by image or text format. The data is, in turn, transmitted to another system for confirmation and processing. In another instance, the tablet and iPhone are used to snap photos of vehicles. Afterward, the images are uploaded through a web application to a MySql database. A PHP script is utilized to resize and reduce the resolution of the images which are copied to networking shared drive. Then, the photos are uploaded to another application in preparation for an auto auction.
