Introduction
The video mainly talks about migration, distances, and diffusion of people across different parts of the United States of America. At 0:24 mark, the video producer defines migration as the movement of individuals from one point to another. He then talks about emigration, which means leaving an area, i.e., Mexicans leaving Mexico and go to the United States, whereas immigration means coming into a country. At 1:57 mark, he states that people move for different reasons, such as seeking employment and even safety. They mainly do this because they want to have a good life (push factors). An instance the many Mexicans move to the United States to seek for good opportunities. At 2:39, he also talks about internal migration, which is people's movement within the states because of different reasons like the tornadoes in America and even earthquakes. At 5:20, he explains diffusion, which means people were dispersing to other parts of the world and finally staying at one point. They adopt the same language and start developing the area they are in. At 6:35, he talks about Maneta's destiny, which he explains as the belief that people have God allowed us to occupy any place in the earth.
North America II
The video is mainly based on how North America is mapped from Canada to the United States to Mexico. At 0:24, he states that there is Greenland in North America, which is part of Denmark. At 1:11, he explains the water bodies located in these countries, the Atlantic Ocean, the Gulf of Alaska, and the Mexican gulf (Learning, 2018). At 2:5, he also states the capital cities of these states, i.e., Washington DC capital city of the United States, Toluca de Lerdo capital of Mexico, and Ottawa for Canada. At 5:0, he states the different rivers in this country, i.e., Grande River, Mississippi, Saint Lawrence, and Mackenzie, Colorado.
North American Realm
In his video, Kim mainly discusses the urbanization and the spatial economy in the industrial cities. At 0:07, he says that urbanization began in North America in 1870, progressing faster, and after 50years, it had already surpassed Europe. At 0:45, the video also talks about urban migration stating that people move to urban areas to acquire jobs (Kim, 2019). At 1:08, he illustrates the new technologies developed in the United States, such as the automobile industries. Then he continues at 3:09 to show how the shift in the spatial economy led to several circumstances, such as the growth of the secondary sector, expansion of the tertiary sector.
The video mainly talks about the challenges of multiculturalism in North America. At 0:07, he describes the diversity growth in these regions, i.e., the melting pot, mosaic culture, and transnationalism. At 3:2, he talks about some of the issues, such as immigration and its benefits and limitations. At 5:00, regionalism in Canada is described identifying it as the 2nd largest territory in North America, and the producer explains how it is clustered.
Conclusion
The video mainly talks about the different territories in North America and what has boosted these areas' economic growth. At 0:7, the city of San Francisco is described as a city with a historical connection of the gold rush and the Wild West. With its sprawling function, it's also recognized as the Bay area. At 1:1, the producer describes the city as having Silicon Valley, which is essential for the area's economy. At 1:34, he talks of the mid-west territory, mainly dominant in agriculture (Kim, 2019). At 3:15, he also speaks of another domain, which the northern frontier is elaborating it to comprise almost 90% Canadians. The region is mainly vast of minerals, hydropower, and tar sand, making the area economically stable.
