Introduction
Homeland security is a section of the US administration which has duties in the public safety. It is comparable to other countries interior ministries. The duties of this department include anti-terrorism, border security, immigration, calamity anticipation and supervision. It was formed to meet particular mentioned needs for the citizens and is the youngest in the US cabinet department.
The administrative center of intelligence and scrutiny equips the Homeland security section with the knowledge and information required to keep the Homeland secure and robust. This department is led by the office of intelligence and analysis to integrate intelligence into operation across all Homeland security department components (Lautner, 2010). It brings together the local government and the private sectors to identify disasters and react to them.
Homeland security intelligence is vital and it performs a significant role in public security. It is mostly associated with terrorist attacks, but it covers a broader set of duties. Therefore, it merges the local government and the private sectors to identify problems and responds to them. The government should, therefore, ensure that it gives this department full support.
Is Profiling Wrong?
Profiling is a process of acquiring information or data concerning an individual based on their character. There are various types of profiling which include racial profiling, criminal profiling, among others. To understand profiling, for instance, criminal profiling involves the process whereby investigators get to know the details of a crime.
It is right to perform criminal profiling because it is one of the ways that helps the criminal investigators to deal with serious crimes. Researchers have proven that criminal profiling is the best method of discovering how to deal with a criminal (Bartol & Bartol, 2012). It is one of the modern techniques that police use to tackle a challenging crime.
The discussion above clearly indicates that it is good to conduct profiling. This is because it serves a significant role in law enforcement. It is therefore considered as the most natural way of researching crimes since it is reliable and accurate (Rice & Shenoi, 2011). The administration should embrace criminal profiling as a way of helping the police to research on crimes.

Various factors influence the intelligence world of tomorrow, taking into considerations the complex rapidly changing world. First is the accurate and timely analysis, which will improve its performance and broaden its capabilities. Secondly, the IC should recruit, pick, coach, and inspire experts on organization, mastery and application of the most suitable analytic method (Goldman & Maret, 2016).
From the discussion above we can conclusively say that history being written today is creating the intelligence world of tomorrow. IC needs to take into consideration such factors as having been elucidated above to improve on its abilities. Besides, proper technologies and management practices should be established for it to make sophisticated advances in the future hence propelling it to next levels of success.
