First, ladies and gentlemen, New Mexico State has expansive trending in so far as the livelihoods and its physical land area are concerned. Currently, according to the Carlsbad Current-Argus, there are public comments to begin soon following the BLM three state lease sales. In this case, the news centers on hundreds of acres that are from three states for oil and gas exploration through hydraulic fracturing. It is an investment progression that is stated in the federal Bureau of Land Management lease sales in December. Most of such land leased is in the South East parts of New Mexico. The three states include the New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. BLM, also, proposes the lease sale of the Land that is near the national park to drill the oil reserves in the region. It is a step that signals the extent of economic cooperation between the three states, especially the New Mexico, which is thus at par with economic stability.

Further, ladies and gentlemen, there are concerns in the New Mexico that the protection of public land against the exploitation by such agencies as BLM could be rolled back. Its aim is the protection of the land by the government from illegitimate exploitation by the companies. In this case, there are the steps to preserve nature against distraction from wayward extraction and exploitation activities. Local leaders are concerned towards the protection of the soothing natural face of the land of New Mexican state. It can thus be seen that New Mexico has leaders concerned with the welfare of the locals in so far as the profitable economic activities are pursued. (Collins, S. 2016). The Carlsbad Argus news also reports of the Bills in Congress which could Speed up the permit process for the operations of BLM in the extraction of oils and gas. It is a bill that was introduced by the New Mexican congressman and the gubernatorial candidate, Rep. Steve Pearce. It is titled ''Common Sense Permitting Act'' deemed to amend the policy on energy Act 2005 by incorporating the categorical exclusions of permitting the gases and oil use. (Rosen, D. A. 2017). Activities excluded for further review by the bill are the reinstating leases, oil and gas operations, drilling at a pad and expanding an existing pad. The bill is thus, ladies and gentlemen, aimed at safeguarding BLM in its activities.

For the educational sector, the New Mexico is State University Carlsbad is making progress in offering skills training to the academic elites of the land. It thus ensures the production of highly trained personnel fit for the dynamic and tech-oriented labor markets of the state. There are programs to ensure that the students are up to date by being tech savvy. It can be seen where four creative youth computer classes started in June and July this year. Included disciplines are the app design where the students are taught how to design and customize their apps (Garcia, F. C. 2018). They are meant to arm the students with the necessary skills further to use computers which is a crucial element in all the fields and sectors of today's world. They will also remain competitive and ahead of the pack in computer literacy. Its nursing program is also being ranked as the 5th most well performing in the states, showing its capacity to mold the students with the right content adequately. The New Mexico state's education system can thus be seen as beneficial. Further, according to Carlsbad Current-Argus, Carlsbad residents rally against the ''zero tolerance'' immigration policy proposed by President Donald Trump. The New Mexican residents are thus seen as having sympathetic attitudes towards the immigrants who are seeking to look for a job, educational and peace opportunities in the United States (Brown, E. L. 2015).

Conclusion

Cumulatively, ladies and gentlemen, I am grateful your time and attention as I put forward some issues pertaining the New Mexico, ranging from the political positioning, physical environments, the educational systems and the news surrounding the New Mexicans. Thank you so much. Have a good day.
