Introduction

Nupower-2 is a creative electronic pop band consisting of two members, Lucas and Elliot who are students of San Francisco College. Lucas is the lead singer and keyboard player of the band. He has a good creative talent and keyboard playing ability. He is influenced by video games and youth culture. On the other hand, Elliot is a bass player and during his years of practice, he mastered a variety of bass performance skills. He was mainly influenced by DJ which gave him a lot of inspirations. Elliot comes from locals of San Francisco while Lucas comes from San Diego. Although they come from different places, their love for music is the same and their common goal is to create more electronic pop music.

Their meeting was a coincidence. One day when Elliot was practicing a bass in a classroom, Lucas who was passing by, heard a voice from a distance which he listened carefully and he became interested in knowing the person. Thereafter, the two not only became good friends but also formed their own band. At first, the band did not do well since there were some differences in their creation, but due to their common musical dream and constant practice, they eventually became very understanding and their music got better. Also, they have some common hobbies. For instance, they like collecting some strange things and start beating them up through a special voice so as to create different unique music.

They started by holding a small concert in the school and their first songs to perform were "The Hot City" and "The Eternal Moment." Since their songs were original, they received good responses and were loved by many including the students and the whole schools as well as their fans. In giving back to the society, they used the money they made at the concert to buy more books for the school library and in improving school's music equipment.

Nupower-2 is an Electro-pop band in San Francisco performed by two college students, Lucas and Elliot. Their common belief and love for music made them create their own band. Their inspiration and love for original music came mainly from DJ and video games. His creations incorporate many elements, dynamics, and enthusiasm. On the other hand, Eliot is the bass player of the band who is from San Diego and his influence is from DJ. His style of creation is like the passion and joy of Santiago. It is not only their common love and belief in music that made them create their own band but also their distinct creativity which made their band be original hence attracting more people and fans. This strengthened their confidence and laid a good foundation for their goals which was to organize their own large-scale concerts and create more original electro-pop music.

Fan Review

Nupower-2 songs are very passionate, with some elements of rock. Listening to their songs gives young people an optimistic feeling despite what they go through in life. Their concert at school is amazing making many to enjoy it. Luca's voice is very penetrating and magnetic. Elliot brings a tactic understanding between them making it great and enjoyable. The smooth dynamic melody makes their songs to be memorable. The two players are very kind and friendly bringing a happy party like feeling. Everyone is happy with their songs as they sing and dance together. I think their future will be very good. My friends have become fans after listening to their songs. I really hope that they will be able to release their own albums in the future so that I can listen to their songs anytime anywhere!

May 8th, 2018 (San Francisco) - NuPower-2 will hold a concert called "Magic Square" at the West Bar of San Francisco. The new song will commemorate the two years they have passed. Small stage, simple musical instruments, or rough or magnetic, or delicate or soft arpeggios will lead people to experience the youthful passion of the city. So far, the NuPower-2 band has released three new songs on YouTube last month namely; "Through the No Man's Land," "The Eagle," and "You Are the Legend," This bar concert will release the latest single "Modernsky." The entire song is girt thanks for the support of the fans for two years and a 2nd-anniversary gift for themselves as well. "Modernsky" records the band's two-year history behind the scenes. Through this song, they hope that people can profoundly understand this electronic pop band from various angles.

We are the burning flames. We are flowers on the infinite ruins. Wherever we are, we love freedom; we love music, we love to sing and dance. Freedom is the only rule. No one has the right to stop it. Maybe we would be sad, desperate, but as long as we have the strength and the music, we must have passion forever.
