The Giving Tree dance performance took place at the Trifecta Metamorphosis Contemporary award. The Batsheva Dance Company performed the Last Work dance in the year 2017 in Paris. The Giving Tree

The Giving tree dance performance starts with a piece of sweet soothing music in the background, and then the dancers come to the stage from the environment. The dress code of the dancers indicates they are full of energy and activity (274 The Giving Tree). Then suddenly, the narrator in the background draws the audience to the dancers with the voice telling the story. The dance shows the coordination of the body, soul, and mind from the group that is performing on stage. Then suddenly a small boy dressed in red shorts and a green shirt appears in the dance. Just from the way, the boy gets dressed, a picture of innocence gets painted in the minds of the viewers. The dancers welcome the boy, and the boy immediately establishes a relationship with the giving tree. At this point, the minds of the viewers get entirely taken by the link that is starting. The mood and the atmosphere get further amplified by the blue lights on the stage (274 The Giving Tree). The blue lights on stage bring in the feeling and mood of love to the viewer.

The picture painted to the audience's mind while watching the dance performance is the image of a yoga dance (274 The Giving Tree). These yoga dance moves directly connect to the audience by telling them a story about the Giving Tree and a small boy. The socio-cultural background portrayed by the dancers is the life of farming in the countryside set up. The element of the social-cultural experience gets depicted by the story of the Giving Tree (274 The Giving Tree). As the dance progresses through stages, the mind of the viewer gets taken through the steps of life. The stages of life get narrated through a story with excellent complements from a dance. Lastly, the feeling of love between the boy and the Giving tree dominates the dance from the time the boy was young to adulthood (274 The Giving Tree). It is a story of selflessness portrayed by the tree since it gives the boy fruits and branches, to the point the Giving tree cannot provide any more. However, at the end of the dance, the audience feels sad for the Giving Tree dry since it just dries up and cannot give anymore.

The dancers portrayed a high level of performance to the audience. The move of the Mossa dancers was very coordinated, and it depicts a lot of training that happened before the performance. The dance is involving and charismatic since it manages to catch the attention of the audience. Additionally, the dancers' moves flow well with background music. It is such a fantastic performance that tells the story of human life. However, the dancers should have used a bit less energy at the end of their production since it was the time when the tree and the boy were feeble.

The Last Work

The Last Work dance performance starts by drawing the audience to an ample space, where a lady is running at the far end of the stage. However, the lady does not seem to be making any move; hence the vastness of space comes into mind (Last Work). The audience is intrigued by young dancers who enter the stage but with their bodies making unusual moves. The dance moves are giving dancers tremendous demand on their bodies, the requirements that are beyond the human abilities (Last Work). The dance took place in Paris, France. Ohad Naharin performs the Last Work. It is hard to tell the specific kind of style performed since the moves seem unusual and demanding to the body. The different forms of performance and the soundtrack playing in the background give the audiences mixed feelings of the performance.

The dance moves, the soundtrack, the big stage space, and the dim light, paint an atmosphere of inhuman acts in a deep area on earth (Last Work). The atmosphere created catches as well as it mesmerizes the minds of the audience. A picture of endless possibilities is painted on the minds of the audience by Ohad Naharin and her group members. However, despite the gravity of our responsibilities, the human body has limitless powers to do the impossibilities. Lastly, social action does not need to be deliberate or planned. All human beings need to leave a formlessness form of life and invent something extraordinary out of nothing (Last Work).

It is important to note that the dance portrayed a culture where persistence oppression on people exists. And now, the people are breaking free from the abuse. The dance has variable genres, including breakdance, house music, among others (Last Work). Additionally, a look at different costumes used during the dance tells the audience life does not need to be planned and conventional; one ought to be free. Furthermore, the dancers seemed well-coordinated, full of energy, and they dance connected to their mind, soul, and spirit. The dance performance caught the attention of the audience. Therefore as such, every person ought to push him/herself to the limit, so us to be able to tap into the hidden human talent within.
