Introduction
Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) enables unlawfully present foreign national in the United States to seek for application of the deferred action from the removal, job authorization and in specific cases, it allows someone to gain a travel permit upon meeting some criteria, for example, meeting some educational requirements. Starting in the year 2012, President Barack Obama issued an executive order concerning the program to provide temporary relief from the deportation risk to certain undocumented people brought to the States as children. The program gets receiving improvement yearly, and there is higher expectation that many will receive protection from the program despite the announcement made by the current president Trump. As the administration of Trump gets closer to ending the program, most of the Americans are wondering concerning the type of impact it will have on the States.
The Past of DACA
From the data released by United States immigration and citizenship services, about 790000 unauthorized immigrants have got deportation relief and the work permits with the assistance of DACA. The immigration policy got established in the year 2012 just after acknowledgment that some immigrants students had been in the United States since their childhood. In 2007, the DREAM Act bill was considered to have given the unauthorized immigrants permanent residency upon meeting specific qualifications. These individuals in the bill got referred to as the DREAMers. The bill, however, was not implemented. The same bill was considered in the year 2011 but fail to get 69 votes expected to overcome Republic filibuster. The immigration system got reformed in 2013 to allow the DREAMers to stay in the country to work and even attend schools. The policy passed the Senate during the same year but fail to receive votes. On June 2012, the president of the United States Barack Obama announced a new policy with a speech at White House. He said that to apply for the program, it required the immigrant not to be older than 31 on June 15, 2012. Also, the immigrant must have been in the States before 16 years of age.
The Present
Since the administration of Donald Trump announced the expected cease f the program, the supporters have got protesting. The NBC news and the Survey Monkey poll have approximated that about 64% of the adults with age 18 and above supports the policy. Despite that the program does not guarantee the DREAMers a chance to become the Citizens of the State, it enables them to enroll in schools, secure jobs, and get the driving licenses of the United States. Recently President Donald Trump gets receiving pressure from most States to cease DACA. The States purport that the program was unconstitutional established by the former President Barack Obama. On the other hand, the immigration advocates and the business leaders are putting pressure on Trump concerning maintaining of the program. There are some of the qualifications which must be met by the undocumented immigrant to be eligible for the program. Some of these qualifications include:

The Future
Most of the undocumented immigrants are worried about the future of the program. The way it will impact their ability to reside in the states is one of their big worries. The youths immigrants presently enrolled will maintain the coverage in the program until their permit expires. If for instance, a permit received its expiry date before 5th of March 2018, the undocumented individuals had an option of renewing their permits for the next two years. Those had their permits expiring after 5th of March this year; they had no option of renewing. The presidential administration, however, said that they could not actively give the information to the immigration authorities. With a large number of individuals who would be affected by the plan of ceasing the program, protest arose against the action getting implemented. As at 5th of September, the government of United States no longer accepted the applications to the program. After the expiry date, the recipients of the program could not work anymore in the States legally. The end of DACA would impact the DREAMers and has been debated all over the Country. Those faced the possible deportation including the supporters of the program got scrambling to protect the undocumented immigrants through pushing the Congress to pass the acts before the elapse of six months given to phase out the program. The push meant at benefiting the undocumented immigrants and impacting the economy of United States positively.
