Introduction
All the lessons concerning the earth show that there are different theories that claim the origin of the earth. Different scientists began their theories to show what they believed in and the extent of the truth concerning the earth in terms of its size, and formation. Generally, they all forward the claims to the fact that the earth is a part of the solar system has come to being with its composition.
Among all the theories, there is a trusted one that has been used to defend the origin of the earth and the universe at large. It describes the size, age and the beginning. The belief from the theory is that the universe expanded from a mass of very high density and at a state of high temperature. The materials from the bang thinned out and cooled down to form the planets such as earth.
The idea of the big bang model is that there is still an expansion of the cosmos and it can be connected with the recent changes and emergence of other smaller substances in the universe as well as the disappearance of others. The notion of the earth is quite dynamic and there are many questions that one is left to ask. There is no mention of what led to the big bang. The answer to the origin of the bang would make the theory more clear.
The history of the earth covers close to four billion years. It is inclusive of its formation from the solar nebular to the present state. The scientific theories help individual form pictures in their minds concerning the place they live. There are those who believe that earth was formed from the solar system.
The earth's history is also inclusive of living things and how they came to be. The earth in the early times was quite different from the present world. There was no existence of the oceans and there was no oxygen in the atmosphere. There were materials all over that bombarded each other and those that had been left over as a result of the formation of the solar system. The initial stage of the earth was molten because of the bombardment that was combined with the heat from the radioactive breakdown as well as residual heat and that from the pressure of contraction.
The elements that were heavier sank to the center as the lighter materials rose to the surface. This way, there was the production of the various layers of the earth that are known as the "structure of the earth". Humanity is believed to have originated from the small African ape where there was an increase in brain size and many changes with the ability to speak and acquiring social skills.
Generally, the history of the earth has been a range of activities and theories that different people believe to have been the origin. In present times, there have been many developments that put the man and living organisms at a better place. There have been technological developments such as computers, nanotechnology and also nuclear weapons. Globalization has been as a result of the advances in communication and also transport. Looking back, people can only claim that it has gotten better. The change is expected to continue even in the coming times where there will be more capabilities.
