The safety box had a new licenced door that was held strong with three steel fasteners parallel to a knob. The vault also had a clock that had not been set yet. The handling of the door was explained to Mr. Spencer, who did not show much interest on the illustrations. Agatha and Mary, two of the children seemed very happy to see the clock, a knob and metal that is shining. "Look!" Agatha said to May pointing at the knob of the vault. There isn’t enough air, and, besides, she’ll go into convulsions from fright” Mr Adams said in a trembling voice. All that could be seen in people's faces as they moved across the room was fear with a little hope.
