The instances of child abuse have majorly resulted from the decline of Catholic Schools that were also known as Holy Spirit Schools (Geographic Identifiers, 2015). The schools collapsed in 2003 due to a lack of enrollment of pupils. It has facilitated the cases of child abuse since the moral reinforcement that schools were providing is no longer available (Geographic Identifiers, 2015). Similarly, criminal activities have increased due to a lack of adequate income for most households.
