Introduction

'The Latin history of the morons' is a movie created from the inspiration of the Latinos in America. Also known as the modern theatre, the playwright of the Latinos is embarked on an outrageous frenzied, funny search for a Latino hero because of his son's school project. From the Aztec empire to stories that have never been told, the Latin patriots are beyond the revolutionary war broken down by Leguizamo between the Pitbull and Mayans into 110 uncensored. Leguizamo wanted to correct the error about the Latinos by acting out the rise of the Incan empire and the fall of the Aztecs with Colombus brutality by mixing a screwball, educational, and flamboyance comedy. The idea was to incorporate his learning experience with the anger to connect his terms with the cultural erasure. Leguizamo did this in a broadway but a current political context when he added the emotional weight. He wanted to make the audience react louder, create, and resonate more ideas and make the performance big.

The running themes of this movie are how Leguizamo was trying to uplift his son when he went through periods of bullying because he was a Latino. Leguizamo even went ahead to talk to the bully's father to convey his rage and to send a message that his son should not be the target because of their heritage. Of the themes presented, the one that resonates with me is the way Leguizamo reclaims the identity of his son in a fraught era that feels cathartic to gasp for visibility and recognition to echo the noisy streets of times squares and Broadway.

The playwright of the play was to prove how people do not recall Latin history by showing how far the land of the free fell because of the white supremacy and ignorance. Leguizamo also reminds people of the war between America and the Latinos, which were in high number that made them invisible in America. The charming comic was passionate about spreading the dispelling myths and truth.

Leguizamo used various choices to interact with the audience. He did this by improvising the script he narrated. All he wanted to achieve was to involve the whole crowd by clapping when dancing the mambo and saying out answers to quizzes that he wrote on the chalkboard. Leguizamo wanted people to be passionate and have empathy for the film. The costume's designs were awe-inspiring, which conveyed what used to happen to the Latinos.

My favorite actor was the protagonist himself because of his boldness and effort to give the audience a message that the Latinos should not be put on the verge of being bullied because they are strangers. There are many lessons I learned from this movie. However, one experience is that Latino people have lived in America for 500 years, but everyone forgets history books. In this statement, I mean that the contribution of the Latinos in America's history is still not embraced in high school history books and that it why Leguizamo did this play to remind people.

The moments that I was deeply connected with the movie were when Leguizamo's son was bullied. I felt bad because this is an innocent boy who was motivated to learn but ended up being frustrated. The fact that the father went to confront the father of the bully made me feel proud of such parents because most of them fear to address such issues in the fear that they will be arrested. The movie is also very educational and fun to watch because of the comedy act put. It is now clear to me that we should never think of bullying someone all because they come from a different country but work together to form a bright future.
