On the other hand, the definition of the renaissance art comes from the middle-age period as the medieval art. It was inspired by the expression of the culture of the Greece and people from Rome. The culture of this art later emerged in Italy in the late times of the 14th century.

The medieval type of art was different from the renaissance because it never gave the focus on the body of human beings. The arts were not much characterized by the paintings and drawings in the whole picture. The arts used were very keen on ensuring that the Roman architecture is revived. The art of renaissance had the characteristic of designs that had columns with a perfect geometrical design, and domes of the hemisphere.

The contrast coming between the two types of ancient arts is that they both were used to design the churches in the Roman and Greek people in the 14th century. The other similarity that came between the two arts is the way the interior designs were made. The use of the arts had a nice and encouraging type of combination of the colours in most of the items created. The other similarity that came between the two arts is that as they represented the information about humans, the church considered it to be sinful and not a good kind of virtue. The arts gave a good display of the culture of the Romans and Greek during the period middle age during the 14th century.
