Introduction

In 2002 I graduated from the University of Salahadin with a degree in the English Language. It was an area that had developed a passion for and I really liked it. I always wanted to be a creative writer and also develop good communication skills with the language. I thought that it would be my career path for my entire professional life. In August 2006 I began working for REACH a health community-based health and rehabilitation center as an office manager and accountant. This ended in 2009 where later I was promoted to a Senior Program officer then later in at the beginning of the year, I managed to change my career to a Finance Officer taking up all the financial roles. Presently I am hired as a Finance Officer at Handicap International managing and controlling the entire financial and accounting task. Because of this, I have discovered another career path which has motivated me to advance further in the finance field.
