When observing the brightness, the stars were very distant and no apparent changes in their positions and brightness could be seen when the earth was rotating around the sun. Further, the universal force of gravity pulls all the objects to the centre of the earth, and in case any stars were at the edge then they would be attracted to the distribution centre, and the earth is infinite, it is in a position to be stable and remains at the zodiac's centre. . Also, the Copernican model is used to predict the changes seen in the night sky. Orbits keep on being repeated from time to time, and the earth keeps on orbiting every 365 days of the year, and it does not change its orbit path. It is also possible to predict the brightness since Halley's Comet comes from the space and brightens the skies after every 75 years and then after every 89 days, mercury reaches its maximum elongation from the sun.

The universe has been created with tremendous space, and despite being seen to serve no purpose, the emptiness is essential as it where matter lives.
