Now it happened that we both experienced money problems, and for two months we never paid our dividends to the house owner, we were not able to raise enough funds for both us. Now in the third month, things worsen. The landlord was forced to close the house together with everything that was inside. To get our stuff back, we had to pay that amount, and there was no otherwise. So, this is what happened.

I had to part way with my buddy so that I look for other means of raising money. I went and did my hustle, and surprisingly I was able to raise good cash, half of the required amount. The money that I was needed to raise, I raised it in time. Now what I did, since I was far from where the house was, I sent the money to my friend so that he could pay himself. I did exactly that.

On coming back to my house, since I stayed that place for some time so that I could make more cash, I did not find my friend in the house, and it was closed. I got perplexed. I never thought of anything like that. I called my friend, but he refused to pick my calls. I had no other way of finding him, so I opted to get back to where I was staying after I talked with the owner, and he too, he had not seen my colleague for quite some time. I stayed there as I tried finding my colleague, but it seemed impossible. After around three weeks, the landlord called me and what he told me was very embarrassing. He said that our time had finished and now it was his time to use his means to recover his lost money. He was going to auction the property inside the house. That is where all my assets and documents were. You can imagine the blow that I was going to experience. I had no money myself, so I could not solve the situation.

After two days, an idea flapped in my mind. I thought of sneaking into the house and get my belonging back. I was going to use a house that was under construction beside the building we were staying in. The mission was to occur at night since I was doing the wrong thing. So on the D day, at around 9 pm, I was around, checking the situation in that area. After an hour, I started my mission. I was to use that unfinished building and enter my house via the balcony. I went through the dark since I could not light the place with my torch. Other tenants would realize and raise the alarm, and things would be not easy for me.

When I got to the fourth floor, I started tiptoeing through the darkness until I thought of something terrible, and I decided to use my torch. After I switched on my light, what I saw was enough to get me back and surrender everything else. The next step that I was to make would be my last step on earth. I was to step on an empty space, and therefore I would fall from the fourth floor to the ground. I am sure you can also bet that I could not have remained alive after that thunderously fall. Now I was risking my life for worldly materials. I had no guts to continue with my mission. That was the end of the purpose, and I left the place in a state of nostalgia. I was sad because I never completed my mission buy yet happy because I never fell.
