Is There Existence of God?

The topic concerning the existence of God has been discussed over a long period of time. However, the following paper is going to focus on the summary of three articles that the authors believe that there is no existence God.

To begin with, who is God? According to theology, God is an omnipresent, omniscient and omnipotent, a superficial being that has the power over the world and created the world with the word of his mouth alone. Well, this is in contradiction with what the following articles have to say about God.

According to (Jake) who has authored the article 'Is there a god,' argues that nobody can tell on whether there is a God. According to him, he says that people created this supernatural being so that they can have someone who does not exist to say something to. He also says that it is good to always have someone watch over you and that person can ensure things would turn out to be good. Jake says that if it was up to him to decide on whether he wanted to go to the Synagogue, he would not, a case which if taken into consideration many people would not attend church anyway. They say that God is all powerful and all knowing, but many bad things are happening in the world and if God is all that they claim he is, why can't he stop the genocides from happening. Believers have an answer to the questions asked about the sad occurrences in the world and direct the response to the devil; they say 'that is the work of the devil'. If God is that powerful, why can't he get rid of the devil? He claims these goes against the God-based religion. Some say that God wants us to learn from the problems, and then the argument comes in, if God is that powerful why can't he make a perfect world that people can live in?

In the second article by Mike, he argues that God is imaginary, hence non-existence; no science has proven God to exist. According to him, he believes that something might have created humans but necessarily not God. He also does not believe there is an all-powerful being ruling over everything. According to him, religion was designed to answer the questions that people had no answer to. The author of the article does not believe that God created the universe, just one world for a few billion people only. He concludes by saying that religion does not seem to be practical enough to be practiced. This article has similar views as the first one.

In the last article 'there is no God' by (Jillette), the author says that one cannot proof there is God, and that it would be mysterious to have one name that has many meanings, and gave an example of the word 'elephant' having other definitions that include; mystery, order, goodness, love and a spare tire. The author says that the 'I believe' term demands more of a person's sacrifice, and gives the man some rules to live by. He argues that by not believing in God stops him from being solipsistic; he can accommodate and read ideas from different people and cultures. Without God, people can agree on reality, and he can continue learning from where he was wrong. He also believes that by not believing in God the suffering that is experienced in the world is not caused by an omnipresent, omnipotent force that does not bother to help or is just testing. In the belief of there being no God means that there is room to believe in family, people, love and other things.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the three articles claim there is no God based on the fact that he is more potent than any other being in the world yet all the bad stuff like terrorist activities happen under his watch.
