We believe success to be as a result, of motivation to hard work and determination. Achievement of goals through hard work is the pattern most people draw to achieve their set targets and objectives through strategic plans as stated by Shawn Achor, [2010]. However, this formula matches to old trust because success work incorporation with happiness to get the quality outcome desired - happiness inspirers one to attain the best performance and to achieve set goals. Engaging our minds motivates our emotions in an efficient way to develop creative ideas that make our work to be productive.
Radical research on how to make someone happy and make ourselves happy too and thinking optimistically are the best ideas to succeed in work. People who think commitment total commitment and single-mindedness on work is the best way to work out should forget since it creates stress and fear workforce as stated by Fulvio and Vergard, [2018]. This because people fear to meet the targets allocated to them resulting in poor output since the whole work was supervised with pressure and anxiety created to the laborers. There are different competencies and skills that employees should identify in employees for effective social delivery in the organization; they include; character, purpose, creativity, learning, and relationship as discussed below.
Character
Setting our mindset and attitude to think positively will only be attained by being happy. Happiness motivates our ability to work hard towards achieving our success. Both success and happiness work in correlation because the mind is the only determinant that creates the ability to achieve. Success revolves around happiness and not hard work and determination as people trust. According to Sarah and Jeffery, [1998], business organizations should adopt ways to create happiness in the employees, as this character is the backbone to success. Clinging on this old perspective of hard work to achieve, we misguide our attitude and emotional well-being leading to decrease in quality achievement and success. Under character, there are sub-categories that organizations need to equip knowledge to the employees to achieve the best.
Integrity
Refer to a condition of being complete or pure. Sound morals and exposure of work ethics is the core that employees should look in a worker since it determines how he or she will interact with other mates. Some workers can create problems thus, affecting the attitude and mood of workers who at the end develop zombie moods that create unhappiness leading to poor service delivery as stated by Shawn Achor, [2010]. Companies and colleges should focus on skills to production and performance majorly on emotions and physical well-being of the workers.
Credibility
Credibility refers to the sense of trust and reputation in influencing the ability to trust someone. Trusting ideas of employers will enable the organization to by creation of emotional behavior that is the main tool that will affect the functioning of the brain and change of behavior. Mistrust to the suggestions or ideas from the workers will develop negative emotions thus, narrowing the ability to carry our actions and thoughts as mentioned by Andrea and Robert, [1998]. Positive emotions make us happy thus organization of developing ideas thus retrieving it faster to create neural connections for quick creativity and skilled analytical tools that major on quality decision making to invert more ideas. Schools and companies should major on the best way to build trust with people since this is the base of happiness.
Purpose
Any individual or organization in the society has a target set to achieve at the end of a given period. Achieving a goal can be successful once there is an enabling environment that motivates the individual work towards it. The environment we work in determines our mindset and sense of well-being, as they are key to achieving the set goal. According to Shawn Achor, [2010], motivation and vision are the best portraits the society or organization should have in mind to be successful in its strategies.
Motivation
Change of our surrounding can be a major boost to keeping off negative emotions to the employees. The company should draft ways on how they can create positive emotions to make the workers happy. Motivating employees can also be in the form of rewarding the best and worst performance as it inspirers them and creates happiness in them. The most successful people adopt a mindset that makes their workload bearable. This assists them to work extra hard and consistently in a faster way as compared to negative mindset individuals who end up unsuccessful as stated by Arie and Tal Shavit, [2017]. Recognition of talents among the workers also motivates them to produce good results in their area of specialization.
Vision
Change of mindset makes us think differently towards our set objectives and experiences. This means that the evolved beliefs in our workplace affect the outcome. The mental engagement of our daily workload defines the reality of our efforts as compared to the activity itself. Provision of an enabling environment in an organization will greatly determine our ability to have ways on how we can achieve our targets. According to Sarah $ Laurah, [2003], organizations should consider ways to the creation of an environment that motivates our mindset, which is a determinant to the achievement of the set goals. Believe to success inspires our job performance and having a vision motivates us to work towards the idea.
Creativity
Creativity refers to the art or ability to invert or creation of ideas. Engaging our minds motivates our emotions in an efficient way to develop creative ideas that make our work to be productive. According to Andrian and Clemens, [2017], changing our motives for selection of a positive counter fact, it makes us happy and accompanied motivation for better performance. Under this, we shall discuss how innovation and solution are seeking help the community and organization for effective social delivery of services.
Innovative
Innovation refers to the act of inverting new ideas or systems from the previous used tools and ideas. Engaging our minds motivates our emotions in an efficient way to develop creative ideas that make our work to be productive. Happiness gives people an enabling situation to think positively towards implementation of different approaches to handle some situation as observed by Paul and Maria, [2018]. The organization and societies should give support to its workers or individuals towards the achievement of their ideas.
Solution seeking
Solution seeking refers to seeking opinions from other people on how to handle operation or get a clear direction on how to work on some ideas. Shawn Achor, [2010], stated that, "workers need to seek answers from the employers on how they can do some assignment, but it will sound difficult if the hierarchy of the organization is set in a way that employees fear to seek concerning or pressing issues from them. As a result, the performance will be low".
Learning
Learning refers to the accumulation of more knowledge or increase of skills on top of the exposed ones. Learning our actions on having a direct effect on our outcomes, increase our internal focus on how to control our confidence in our abilities and look for means on how we can improve them as mentioned by Shawn Achor, [2010]. On this, we are going to deal with competence in our place of work and society.
Competence
Competence refers to the state of being able or suitable for a certain role or a task. We should be able to control any form of unreasonable expectation that leads to unrecognized and unrealistic goals. According to Fulvio and Vergard Tveito, [2009], employees should set goals to moderate us on areas we competent with. Any barriers to change in the company or society should be minimized as they prevent people from acquiring more skills in the areas they do best.
Relationship
Relationship refers to the way of interaction within a given locality. The way the employer relates to the workers should carry a lot of respect and identity. Any mistreatment by the organization to the workers will reflect poor relationship terms. As a result, the morale of employees will be low leading to poor results as stated by Surendra, Alvaro $ Thoene [1998]. Despising the employees will make them unhappy thus, creating a negative mindset resulting in poor output. Under this, we shall discuss communication in the company for it to ensure successful running.
Communication
Communication refers to the way of passing information or ideas from one source to the other. The channels of communication in an organization should consider the right path to get immediate feedback and take actions related to the concerns of the employees. Some companies do not have the right path to communication as a result; there is disorganization in the communication department that may lead to failure. According to Shawn Achor, [2010], strategies should be given priority on dealing with issues surrounding the employees hence; it will be a way of motivating them to work better as their issues are dealt with great concern.
Conclusion
As discussed above there are different competencies that companies need to set in conjunction with skills to ensure effective provision of services to its customers. Success and happiness go together as they ensure that the mindset is set positively towards the success of the set goals as shown by Shawn Achor, [2010]. All the competencies will enable the organization and the society to handle any issue that can emerge and need to be adapted for the smooth running of the society as stated by Zoltan, [2018]. The critical decision should be considered by the management and the workers at large to ensure successful outwork that is full of inverted ideas and tools.
