Abstract
Dottie Restaurant is proud to say that our grand opening event on March 10th was successful with a considerable budget. The Restaurant is now fully operational and hopes that it could be beneficial to both stakeholders and the community around. This document aims at highlighting the key activities at the official launch, possible challenges, and other issues that could be necessary for the current operations.

Event Report
Introduction
The Grand Opening of the Dottie Chain of Restaurant in the Blumberg Street Chapter was effective due to the prior arrangements that we had made concerning the event. The event was successful due to the number of people in attendance and the prospective customers who found it necessary to be part of the project that could solve many problems in the Food Sector. In attendance were the well-known brands of the United States such as Guns N' Roses. , Nirvana, the Beach Boys, and the Ramons. The Restaurant provides first-class services due to high-quality foods. The introduction of highly effective Italian Cuisine and the staff that interacted with the customers provided a good experience for the visiting customers. The main goal of the grand opening is to launch a new Restaurant in the community, create awareness for the brand as well as generate media attention. The ceremony could provide the clients with a reputable experience to impress them as well as persuade them to visit the Restaurant.
Problems
The launch of the Restaurant hangout was a fantastic experience. However, there are some challenges that the event organization team faced. Some of the challenges that the organization team encountered include insufficient food for the overwhelming attendees, lack of enough seats for the arriving guests and celebrities. The planning crew did not establish a proper line up for the entertaining guests. In this case, some stars were not happy with the act of undermining their popularity and thus could not exhibit the best of their performance. Also, there were so many activities going on at the entrance of the event, leading to the congestion that could waste a lot of time during the arrival of the guests. Although the main objective of the event was to ensure that every attendee was satisfied, some of the guests expressed their dissatisfaction with the experience at the high profile dais.
The other challenge that affected the grand opening was the inadequate budget. The amount allocated for the event could not account for the overwhelming number of guests in the opening ceremony, as well as the necessary services to keep the guest entertained. As a result, the allocated budget could not facilitate the acquisition of enough tents. The few tents were inappropriate to hold enough capacity for the arriving guests. There was some raining in the afternoon that interfered with the activities at the grand opening. Due to the rain, some of the guests were not comfortable with the event. Also, the low budget resulted in messy registrations at the event. The company could consider having enough travel and housing in the future. The traveling and accommodation of the guests and celebrities were cumbersome for those traveling over a long distance. The vent could not facilitate the traveling and housing plan of both the attendees and the invited celebrities. Therefore, the grand opening ceremony was shorter than expected.
Attendance
A jaw-dropping crowd attended the grand opening ceremony for Dottie Restaurant. The grand opening of the event started a few minutes before noon. At this time, several multitudes had already arrived. Some of the motivating factors for the encroaching number of attendees were the expectations of performance from the celebrities. All the tables were full by 1:20 pm, and the other seats inside the tent were filled. The crowd composes of mostly young ages with expectations to be part of the event that brings together a considerable number of participants from various parts of the country. The attendees were countless foreign and indigenous cuisine lovers from all over the country with enthusiasm to learn new types of food from other regions. Most of the attendees were men between the ages of 16 to 30. Most of them either had young families or unmarried.
Raffle
The Raffle was an essential aspect of the grand opening as it attracted people from all walks of life. Our business organization would like to thank all participants of the Raffle that managed to secure a chance to 5000 attendees. The Raffle made the grand opening a reality as it attracted potential customers to our Restaurant. Through Raffle's participation, we managed to secure 5023 email addresses that could be effective when facilitating the process of brand promotion. We expect that all the participants of the Raffle become our first-hand customers of the company. Also, the emails may facilitate our communication to the patrons to highlight them of our future plans. Some of the prizes that our winners for the Raffle won include a 1000$ shopping voucher for the company's outlets throughout the country. We want to offer our gratitude for the grand opening prizes winners.
Conclusion
Although the grand opening participants encountered some challenges due to a high number of visitors, the event was successful due to timely planning. The number of attendees was beyond our expectations. Despite the small challenges, the event was a success as the attendee got an opportunity to interact with celebrities throughout the country. Our special guest got a chance to have a test of the foods that the Restaurant could major in during the execution of its operations.
