Introduction
God is the solemn creator. People have different perceptions of who He is. God has distorted His character; hence no human being can give a specific description of God. God is a supreme being who wants human being to view him correctly and at the same time know him intimately. According to the Biblical scriptures, there various descriptions that define who God is and giving detailed information about why He matters. God is indescribable, beyond time, space and beyond human comprehension, but there yet His main desire is to be known and be related to humanity. God is a higher being, all-knowing, all-powerful, omnipresent, righteous, just, love, holy, the answer, creator, and so much more. Despite that the scripture displays all God's characters; some people still have false interpretations about God. Some see Him as a divine Santa Clause, and others see Him as a vengeful dictator. Many people have respect and fear for God. How people view God and His involvement in their lives touches their facet of who they are. Several things about people's lives such as attitudes, desires, actions, motives and words are highly influenced by how they perceive God. He is morally perfect with a character of the highest integrity, and He always does what is right. God is truthful; He can be genuinely trusted since He can never betray anybody's confidence.
The Answer
His relationship with the man is a total commitment since one can experience a lot of blessings full of His goodness. God never changes; therefore, his relationship with a man never varies and always offers what is best for the people he loves. He is a merciful God, faithful and loving. Are you in your most difficult times and you are wondering what is going to happen? Could you be facing challenges and are beyond your ability? God is the answer in all situations. Despite the facts that no one has ever seen God face to face (Jeremiah 29:11), all human being rely on him for any help because he is the answer (Bright 6). He has good plans for everybody. In the biblical scriptures (Romans 11:33-34), God is described as being wonderful with great knowledge and wisdom. He is the magnificent creator who knows everything, the source of wisdom, true knowledge and understanding. God's knowledge is accurate, and nobody has the power to distort or defile. He is the answer because He can handle all life's questions. God is aware of all events, present, future and past and can never be surprised by anything. In (Psalms 139:1-6) God knows our going out our coming back, he knows everything about us. He knows what we have to say even before we talk.
He is Omnipresent
God is omnipresent and always with us. In Psalm 139:7-10, the scriptures narrate how people cannot hide from God. Being an infinite Spirit, He is everywhere and not restricted in just one location. He fills everywhere in the universe with His great character attributes. Even if God is distinct from all that He created, all the creations exist within Him (Bright 5). "In Him, we live and move and exist" Acts 17:28. All God's creatures live in His glorious presence in all days of their lives. God watches over human beings, and He sees what they always do. When people do good, He rewards them accordingly. Everything is naked and exposed before God's eyes. There is nothing difficult before God because His power is inherent.
Higher Being
He is the overall ruler of the universe. There is no greater authority than Him. In (I Chronicles 29:11-12), God is the kingdom and the ruler of everything. God is able, and He possesses every ability needed in controlling everything. He can never be forced by anyone to do anything because He is all-powerful. He is all-knowing so no one can hide anything from Him. God is everywhere, and nobody can hide from Him (Bright 7). There is not even one thing that occurs in the Universe without God's divine permission. He is the only one who can overrule the effects of scientific laws and regulations in the universe. Satan and his evil spirits operate within limits as per God's prescriptions. His sovereignty gives people, events and circumstances directions. He has the power to determines the Kings in all nations (Daniel 2:21). Nobody can survive without God's presence.
God is All-Powerful
God is powerful. He created the whole universe by merely speaking. According to the knowledge of astronomers, the world contains more than 100 billion galaxies, and it amazing how God performed His acts of creation by just speaking. In Jeremiah 32:17, God is described as a sovereign having created heavens and earth by His powerful and strong arm. God's description in this context is based on several representations such as what is contained in the universe, combined energies of all winds, storms, ocean waves and natural forces even though they are not even a fraction of God's power (Bright 4). All power that human beings have is God-given and should not be violated. Any of His creatures do not inhibit God's power. Everything is powerless when confronted by God's might. He is capable of doing anything as long as human beings do not violate His attributes. God can neither be tired, neither discouraged nor frustrated. God is powerful, he cares for His creatures, and He always exhibits His might power in people's lives.
Why Does God Matter
God matters in various ways in our lives. He created us in His image and His likeness, which means He loves us. God created human beings differ from other creatures where He only spoke. He created us last as special creatures. In Jeremiah 29:11, God created us for a good purpose and not with any intention of destroying us. God matters a lot in our lives because He is always with us. He never leaves us in our times of trouble. He fights our battles every time we face some difficulty. In both good and bad times, He is always with us. We cannot survive without God's presence. We all need God's presence to live every moment. Any other protection cannot precede God's protection. He is all-powerful, and we are all promised of His protection everywhere since He is omnipresence. God protects us from all types of dangers. We are all safe under God's protection. God matters in our lives since He knows better than us. God is all-knowing and therefore, even before we make decisions, God knows what is wrong and what is right. He guides us in every path since He is all-knowing. God is great, and He is everlasting.
